Bob Eckhart Construction

I thought Bob was a stand up guy but I guess not. I paid him for new gutters to be installed on my house back in June 2019. Every time I called him about the status of my gutters he gave me different excuses how he injured his shoulder or had a family reunion to go to. It is now November 2019 and still no Bob and no gutters. His voice mailbox is never set up and I called another phone number listed on his website and it's disconnected. Hope Bob is well but at least follow up with your customers.

We had siding installled by Mr. Eckhart last summer. He took approximately four months to complete the job but did excellent work, so in June of this year we paid him $1500 to replace the shutters. He cashed the check the next day but never returned to do the work. He gave us several excuses and promises that he just needed a couple more weeks to finish other jobs. It is now October 27, and he no longer returns phone calls. Guess the magistrate is next.

Mr. Eckhart was contracted by me on april 5th 2019, the job was a complete siding installation and aluminum doors and windows trim installation, The contract was for 3 weeks and Mr. Eckhart has been in my house for 4 months today August 7th 2019, the job is only 1/2 way done and his excuse is that he does not have the man power after he assured me that the job was going to be done in 3 weeks, he took $10,000 already of the total of $14,500. Today he agreed to bring the rest of the material which he has been bringing little by little while doing the job, I Would not recommend him to anyone who really needs a job done.

Bob Eckhart didn't install the work himself, he hired a subcontractor and didn't review his work. He underestimated the amount of siding needed and had to order an additional square of custom colored siding. He requested to be paid in full withholding $500.00 for the remainder of the work. I hired him on April 29th and to date, June 26, 2018, the siding has not been installed. I telephoned repeatedly and he says he will do it. Very upset!

On time, on schedule, went above and beyond to be certain the windows were replaced properly (on the third floor of a Victorian home in the Cetronia area).

He was awesome he did windows for myself & my sister. He is also putting siding in my mother's house! In, out & cleaned up - very meticulous. He does great job.
