Customer service would get 5 stars if the technician brought the camera on his initial visit. I explained to the office that a camera was needed to inspect the sewer pipe.

I would give this company a zero if I could. I had to hire another company to fix a broken gas line after 5 days of waiting for an estimate from them, then they billed me over $300.00 for less than one hour of testing. They are now harassing me for money when they provided no service and were the cause of not having hot water or a stove for 5 days longer than necessary.

"(consumer name withheld per their request) we arrived at your home the afternoon of 9/1/16 to test for gas leak. We tested and found leak on the gas riser under your home. my technicians informed you that the pipe from your meter to the house was more then likely corroded and would need to be replaced. In turn you were informed that the Service Manager would be calling you with an estimate to replace the entire line from the gas meter to your home. i apologize that on 9/2/16 i had to leave out of town for an emergency, this was also labor day weekend which office was closed on 9/5/16. I returned to work on Tuesday and immediately worked up your quote. i then called you to get an email so i could forward you the quote, also spoke with you over the phone and let you know what we proposed to do. My technician did not collect payment on 9/1/16 for the testing that we provided so there was still an outstanding bill that you knew of. on 9/7/16 i called you to see if you wanted to start the job and at that time you informed me that you had already hired another plumber the day i sent you the quote. You also informed me that you didnt think you should have to pay for a bill because we didnt do anything which in reality we found the leak for the plumber that you had doing the job. to this day we have tried to contact you through phone calls and emails and you havent responded, this is not harassment, we are trying to be professional in collecting a debt. Please call our office so we can take care of this invoice, Sincerely Bodine Scott Plumbing Manager"

They called and ask if I would be available after 2 PM. Tech called at 5:30 PM and ask if I still wanted service. Arrived at 6:10 and charged 1.25 hours including travel time.

"we are sorry that we were unable to be there any sooner, by our notes that were inputed by our dispatch department you informed us that any time after 2 would work for you. Our technicians are told to call customers before going to there home because we want to make sure that they hadn't cancelled or called to reschedule for another day. we do charge travel time, my technicians are paid hourly and as a business it would be irresponsible of me to pay my technician to drive to your home for free. In regards to that this is a business, the only way to keep the business running is to collect fees from our clients and travel time is one of those. I will be more then happy to speak with you about any problems you may have had with our service department, please call at 3618839900, Sincerely Bodine Scott Plumbing Manager"
