They were able to fit us in last minute after our other movers cancelled on us on Friday. However, the experience overall was not great and I wish we had just waited. The movers themselves were nice, but clearly overworked with multiple jobs in one day and to the point where we felt bad asking them to move stuff for example to the second floor. some of them would huff when we said "second floor" towards the end. The 3 hour minimum is way too much, we paid $660 ($220/hr) for a 1 hour job for 3 guys to unload a pod. And if we had paid credit card would have had to pay a 3% fee on top of that! (We paid cash and got a 5% discount). Also, it was not clear that the time given to us was a 3 hour window, and when we called to ask where they were, the man on the phone was pretty rude to my wife claiming he explained it over the phone, not true since we were unaware. Lastly, we realized today that the movers damaged one of our door jams brining in a couch things happen but it would have been nice if they told us. I sent the photo and message to our contact and received no response. We won't be using them again. There are more affordable and professional movers out there.

Not sure why we were getting charge for travel time. It s part of the business. Especially when they require two hour minimum.

The 3 movers were pleasant, but their work ethics were unprofessional. Although, I did not find that out until after they left. It was a long day, 8am to 9pm. When they left I gave each of them a $40 tip. As my wife and I unpacked over the next couple of days, we found a significant amount of damage to several pieces of furniture. And none of it was mentioned to me by the Forman. One table that I did notice had a big scratch and brought to his attention I received $100 discount. But, the damage to several tables and especially a grandfather clock was never mentioned. Also, several pieces of furniture were not delivered to the proper floors, now my wife and I will have to do it. I strongly do not recommend this mover. And, they were not cheap.

Born to Move did a wonderful job with our out of state move. Their handling of our items and timely packing and delivery were great. Also, the price initially quoted is what we paid, no hidden fees to speak of. Great job by all - Alex was our coordinator and he was fantastic.

Absolutely the best! On time, careful, neat, calming, really - too good to be true! The fellows were professional and I could not believe how quickly and efficiently our m ove was accomplished.
