My wife and I needed to hire a handy man, plumber or contractor to install grab bars around our bathtub. We had trouble finding someone on Cape Cod because none of the above home workers wanted to take the job since our tiles extended from the tub to the ceiling. They were worried about finding the studs. Lucky for me I found HomeAdvisor to help me out. They contacted me with Boston Orthopedic & Respiratory Equipment, LLC. They were willing to send someone to my house to do the job. They were not turned off by my tile situation. Within 2 weeks the job was done by a very skilled worker. Within an hour he was on his way. My wife and I was completely satisfied by the job very well done. Way to go homeadvisor.com

Dmitriy reviewed the job and understood how the grab bars were to be installed in the tub/shower and provided a very fair price to do the job. I explained that the current shower curtain would be later replaced with sliding glass shower doors. Dmitriy was very familiar with glass doors and showed me where the bars needed to be placed so they would not interfere with the future glass doors. The grab bars(2) were ordered and after they were shipped to my home a workman was dispatched to do the installation. However, the workman spoke very little English and didn't seem to know where the bars were to be installed. I tried explaining but we couldn't get past the language barrier. The workman called Dmitriy who I assume explained what needed to be done. After the call, the workman motioned that he was all set, so I left him to do his work. After the job was done I inspected the work and paid the invoice. Unfortunately, the bars were installed very close to where the glass doors would be installed. I will know later how the installation of the glass doors will be impacted. Another issue, even though relatively minor, is that the workman left his installation guide marks on the shower tiles. I cleaned the tiles to remove the marks, but thought this should not had been a task for the customer to do. I would hire Boston Orthopedics again, but would want Dmitriy to do the work.

Did excellent job installing grab bars in tiled bathroom and hallways for my 85 year old parents in the hold. Good price cleaned up and did what they said they would do. Would recommend!
