Jerry is a door specialist and pretty sure there's not one he hasn't seen. He showed up on time and completed the job at the quoted price.

Jerry installed a 5-panel barn door on a bedroom and a 5-panel regular door on a bathroom and both were problematic since I ordered the doors and hardware and the doors were not right. Jerry figured out how to make them work. He is 100% reliable, good humored, and highly skilled. Next time I will consult with him first before ordering materials and thanks to Jerry's expertise it all worked out beautifully!

Jerry was great. Honest about everything from the start (and a great storyteller) and while I spent a bit more money than the original estimate (just on materials), it was due to him thoroughly inspecting all aspects of the deck and giving me sound advice on replacing some of the wood that was rotten under the main planks. I have already recommended him to friends and will definitely call him up on my next deck/outdoor stairs project.

I hired Jerry some time ago to re-stain a wooden deck and perform minor repairs. The whole experience was very painful. Not only did it take three times longer than expected, but the result is very sloppy and low quality. I would absolutely not recommend them for such a project. They did not come up with good solutions for the repairs, very low attention to details, and the paint job is average at best. Not what you would expect from a highly rated professional.

Jerry Kestenberg did a fantastic job repairing our front porch and he it was fine with him that I decided to pull a permit with the City so the job could be inspected. He explained everything from the initial estimate to the details of the repair. He performed all work himself and showed up on time each morning. He always answered my calls and emails promptly. His price was reasonable. He even didn't mind interrupting the porch job briefly to take care of some some carpentry repairs we asked him to do inside our home. We are very happy with the new porch he gave us with pressure-treated railings and composite floors boards. He is an experienced, professional, and reliable contractor and a nice guy, too.
