What I love most about carpentry is that it is so broad and deep that there is no end of learning opportunities. Over the past 40 years, I have been able to follow my interests as a finish carpenter, teacher of woodworking and technical drawing, furniture building and repair, cabinetmaker, built-in furniture designer and builder, fabricator, door and particularly pocket-door wisperer, puzzle maker, mentee and mentor, project manager, client advocate...and during the pandemic, and with the advent of Zoom, I suddenly realized I could combine all of these...what I specialize in now is making 3D models and shop drawings of built-ins, bathrooms, kitchens or any complicated area to facilitate decision making and to create a common vision for clients, architects, builders, cabinetmakers, and carpenters.
