John did a great job and is very reasonably priced. He takes special care to make sure everything is done perfectly. He has performed multiple different carpentry projects, including adding an interior basement door, installing a new bathroom, tiling in our kitchen and refurbishing our kitchen cabinets. We have been more than pleased with all of his work and would certainly recommend him to anyone!

John did a professional job installing two exteriors doors which were non-standard sizes. I am very satisfied with them. He knows what needs to be done and does it the correct way. Highly recommended!

John was meticulous. There was a bit of a learning curve with this particular barn door install (they are all slightly different and some of the directions werevague), but he kept at it and did an excellent job.

John is very knowledgeable about what he does and easy to work with. He tackled several projects at our house from trim work to drywall. He is honest, on time, and did great work while having my 3 children (fascinated) watching his every move :) Will use him again for future projects!

John Brandt is meticulous in his work and careful to understand the objective of the project. He adjusted his approach based on what he found while dismantling the old stairs (a number of surprises). Some of the stairway solution had to be custom made at his workshop. His work is first-rate. We are very pleased with the outcome, and would hire John for other carpentry/woodworking tasks.

I contacted for the install of a nonstandard size outswing exterior door but without telling me about the switch he installed an exterior inswing standard door BACKWARD and sold to me as if was an outswing door. Now My entrance door now has the weather stripping is on the inside instead of on the outside and non security hinges that we're never intended to be exposed to weather so they will are unlikely to hold up and could rust. Outswing doors have security hinges so burgers cannot break in and he did not use security hinges as required for an outswing door. He refuses to correct it! Beware!

John Brandt completed this project today and did a stellar job. I am very impressed with his work and he went out of his way to find a door that exceeded my expectations (for the same price as the lesser door). He also pointed out some things that could become issues in the near future. It wasn't a sales thing - he just let me know and explained it in terms a homeowner can understand. This guy is great!

I originally called John to see about putting a railing on stairs, but also to put doors on kitchen cabinets. He built me some beautiful Kitchen Cabinets, and also lined me up with a other good contractors - an electrician, carpet layer, and plumber. Since I live out of state, I am extremely grateful because he did excellent work, was very honest and did his best to keep prices in line. I rate him very high and will certainly use him again if the need arises.

Have an old house that had a non-standard exterior door that needed to be replaced. John stopped by and gave me a reasonable quote for the work and told me what parts to buy. He showed up on time and did a fantastic job. It was not a simple door to replace but John kept me informed about everything he was doing. I am very pleased with the work and the door looks great. He is now in my phonebook and will be the first person I call when I need more work done.
