"Mr. Spence we are so sorry you feel this way. You are correct we did not install the down spout because we couldn't do so without damaging the existing gutter and couldn't ensure perfection so it was not installed, however we did still clean the existing gutter and down spout and you were NOT charged for it. Furthermore, you were told multiple times the day the job would be done and even told the day you made the down payment it would be done on Friday and it was. The holiday you are referring to was July 4th, which was Saturday not Friday and at no time did you tell us we could not do the job. Instead you allowed us to do the job, even after being notified they were on their way and asked if it was still okay to do the install and then conveniently return and dissatisfied. I have pictures of the work completed. In regards to your statement that the owner doesn't listen and to get it in writing, he most definitely listens and you were present for the drawing of the diagram and you also received the estimate and approved, all in writing. You were told we do not carry the extension hoses and instructed on where to purchase it if you still wanted it. The extension piece was never a part of the quote/estimate hence why it wasn't on the estimate. We fulfilled our agreement, on the day you were told and what we couldn't install was removed from your estimate and you weren't charged; however, you still owe us money."
