"We came out to replace decking boards and stain the deck. We replaced decking boards and yes pieced 1 on the end in 3 sections due to the material [Member Name Removed] 1 board. Even though it is pieced we did not charge the customer for another decking board as we were explained that are original price was a little high. Even though the boards are pieced in 3 sections it still stands up to code. The deck was not stained as the homeowner explained to us she did not know if her daughter wanted to stain or paint the deck. I told them I would leave the stain they paid for with the customer in just in case. A few days after we finished work completed the customers daughter called us with multiple complaints about our work, I cant send the same crew as they have stated they were unsatisfied with there work. Since then we have struggled with staffing and have been forced to shut down. The customer was charged for demo of old decking boards, removal, and new decking boards with labor to install them. They were charged for stain which they still have in there possession. They will need to reach out to another company to correct there issues or finish the staining as we were told they weren't sure if they wanted it stained or painted when we were there to stain it initially. We are no longer in business nor are we currently operating as I replied to the customers daughter via text. We cut this customer a tremendous discount as the job is actually a $1,600 dollar job they were only charged $900.00 range for. We cannot operate without insurance or operating license and did not have the staff to send out to fix the complaints. This job was inspected by Joseph Adkins and was passed."
