Russ showed up promptly for the scheduled appointment. After a few minutes Russ diagnosed the problem and replaced my igniter. This resolved the problem. No problems since the repair was done. Russ also gave me a one year parts and labor warranty. Russ was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely use Appliance R Russ again and highly recommend them.

Russ, the owner, diagnosed the problem, and discussed the pros and cons of repairing vs. replacing (22 year old machine), and cautioned against the expense of repairing. He promptly called the next day with the cost of parts and recommended against repairing. Russ was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and his price was very fair. A big contrast with my very bad experiences with other appliance repair people,

Could not have gone better. I'm now readying my apartment for sale. I shall call Russ to repair any of the minor appliance repairs in full confidence he will do as good a job as can be done by a mortal man. The charge was one-eighth of what the other appliance repair firm estimated. One-eighth!

Russ came on time. He tried a fix and said if it didn't work to let him know. After that, the unit worked well on high heat but didn't do well on simmer. I did let him know, and he advised that it probably wasn't worth repairing such an old stove and told me how much it would cost. I told him to go ahead and order the new part because I didn't want to bother shopping for a new stove right now. He did so and I made a appointment to have the new part installed. Once again he arrived promptly and worked efficiently. Burner is o.k. now.

Called on Monday; scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. Repair done timely and quickly.

Excellent! Russ showed up on time when he was supposed to. Evaluated the problem. Checked the entire oven (he did not want to make a repair and charge me if there were other problems that he could not fix). He fixed the problem,was very professional and pleasant.

<p>I had Russ in to see why the 2 year old Maytag would turn on it just buzzed.  He thought it was the motor but showed me that I could use it by I moved the drum and it would start... He said he would hold off billing me until the following Monday so I could see that; if after a few uses it started up on its own then he would charge me a discounted rate for the house call. If not he would order a new the motor. The ordered motor would not arrive for a few days but I was going to be out of town for 2 weeks and my dog sitters would be working.  There was no problem holding the motor until I returned.  Russ installed it and the dryer is working fine and is quieter that before it broke. I would recommend Appliances R Russ without hesitation.</p> <br />

My dishwasher was leaking...Called Russ, He came, looked over my dishwasher, determined what the cause was. Part was ordered, dishwasher was fixed in 1 week. Fantastic service, would definitely hire again should another great appliance fail on me! <br />

It was fixed in record time.  We were so impressed that we have asked him to do some research on a part for our double oven. <br />

Russ is the kind of guy that puts you immediately at ease. Very friendly and likable right off the bat. He found that my drain line was overflowing. He then went on to make sure that the machine wasn't having any issues. I  then showed him an issue with my stove that was a simple fix.  He charged me less than the usual service fee, which is a rarity these days and greatly appreciated, I have found my go to guy, for any further appliance needs! <br />

Russ of Appliances R Russ is a treasure.he tested and re tested the igniter on my stove top to try to replicate the problem I was having. He showed me the proper way to turn it on. I mentioned the oven door would not close tightly. Russ happily adjusted the oven door. I also told him the ice cubes in the refrigerator were coming out hollow. He went to the water feed -made an adjustment . Ascertained I would need a valve replaced and perhaps a filter and that he would call me when parts are in. HOW refreshing -someone who appears to like his job and wants to make people happy - at least that is my impression. Do not hesitate to call him for your appliance repairs.SATISFIED CUSTOMER........ <br />
