If we could give ZERO stars we would. My parents hired them to replace all the windows in their home. They were older and got taken advantage and ripped off. We have been having issues with water etc for a long time. Had tried reaching out many times and they blocked us. We just started to remove some of the work they did and we are absolutely disgusted with what we found. We will be taking them to court. DO NIT TRUST THIS COMANY WITH YOUR HOME. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. We are now stuck with having to hire real company and replace all windows.

It was clear to me that Jerome has built a LOT of decks and has encountered every hiccup and scenario out there. He knew how to easily navigate the permitting process and the HOA process. And knew offhand which supplies would be easy to source. His timelines were accurately stated and this deck is the most solid, sturdy deck I have ever set foot on. It was amazing work. The framing crew and the railing crew were awesomely professional and very clearly talented in their work!

I would give 10 stars to Jerome and his crew if I could. We had a complicated project of demolishing an old deck and putting in a new one. Jerome understood our vision and he and his crews could not have been more accommodating or professional. We love our new deck and we have gotten many many compliments from friends. We recommend Briar Street Builders to anyone who is repairing or building a new deck!!

Our new deck is perfect. It was a complicated job because pylons had to be replaced, and because an old concrete patio had to be removed. Also there turned out to be a large hole caused by rainwater from the gutter. Briar Street Builders took care of everything. And installed a new sliding-glass door too. All great.

We were in a very tight time crunch and Jerome, the owner, was wonderful in getting two crews out to do two different jobs in the time frame we needed and to do quality work.

Jerome did an excellent job on our 360 Sq ft deck. There weren't any surprises and he took care of the little extras our building code required efficiently and without additional cost to us. He is easy to get along with and made sure the work was done correctly. We continue to get compliments on the beauty and craftsmanship of the deck. I will definitely use him again when we need any other work done. Thank you Jerome!

Straight arrow - honest - up front. Attention to detail in the workmanship resulted in a solid, quality 10x24 second floor back porch (deck) with stairs down to the backyard concrete patio. I have not heard a single creak through the heat of summer nor the artic blasts. It is solid as a rock. These guys know what they are doing.

Great work by Jerome and his team! The stone work, the flooring, the beautiful bar, all are amazing! The compliments just keep coming in! Kudos to the team. Ron and Rick are great and take pride in their work!

200 sq. ft. addition took 6-7 months to complete; was told 3-4 months. Poor contractor/owner management and organization. Very small crew not skilled for all work aspects assigned and lack of overseeing crew by contractor/owner. Material orders at last minute, in spite of my advance material lists. I ordered many materials myself to save time and money. Subs hired based on availability only, not competence as job went into spring/summer with more sub competition. I had to hire replacement subcontractors for several jobs that had to be redone. I have photos of sub-par workmanship by this crew and subs. I had to keep track of work progress and, or lack of, for contractor. This company not good for inside finish work. Although home all days when they worked, I was frequently not asked about choices in finish work or materials until installed/purchased. As a result, relationships deteriorated drastically as the months went on. They did finish the job, although several things need fixing at my expense, including a bathroom pocket door that does not close sufficiently. This was/is an ADA addition for a senior that became extremely stressful with difficult workmen in my house for so many months. In the past I have built houses, remodeled houses, and have hired work done on my rentals. I have never had such a difficult experience in 30 years as rental manager/owner.

Jerome and the whole crew were great. I love my deck, and it was not an easy job (third floor master bedroom deck addition).

Jerome and his crew did everything possible to make this a seamless experience. If it weren't for the bad weather, they would have been done in 4 days (demo of old deck and new Trex deck installed). Everything was put back in place after they were done as if they weren't even there. Jerome kept in constant contact with us about the work and county inspections. I would strongly recommend Briar Street Builders for any project.

I would HIGHLY NOT recommend. Very poor professionalism - walked off incomplete job and made no attempt to resolve situation. Was paid for project and never completed it. Project will require extensive and costly work to correct and complete. Poor quality of work. Wasted and/or damaged materials which we paid for. Damaged our property. Left our incomplete project and yard in disarray leaving trash and expensive materials strewn about. Poor oversight and management of crew. Owner protects his crew's feelings over his customer's satisfaction. Numerous delays and "no shows" on planned work days.

Our deck looks amazing and overall Jerome is an excellent contractor to work with and provides great value for the product. He is responsive and goes out of his way to keep the customer happy. Project took a bit longer than originally quoted, but it was worth the wait. Will highly recommend him and his crew for your deck project!

I consulted with them on the project, and came up with the best possible solution. When I wanted to make a change, they accepted with no issues. Very professional and easy to do business with. I highly recommend them.

Jerome and his crew did an amazing job building our covered patio. They had good ideas for the design, and obviously understood snow loads, roof pitch, etc that are required for building in Colorado. Their price was as good or better than other quotes we got. They communicated well about schedule, and took care of all permits and inspections. All the workers were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. Can't wait until the weather warms up a little so we can use it!

Jerome has great ideas and is very responsive. He takes great pride in his work. I look forward to working with Briar Street Builders again in the near future!

Easy to work with, pretty flexible. No problem making contact and discussing things through-out the project. Only criticism is that the project took longer than expected, but that was due to a number of what looked to be external issues out of Jerome's control. The end result was very good...

Jerome and his crew were easy and fun to deal with. When we made changes to the style of our deck, they just went with the flow and made the changes we asked for. There were structural issues on our house and they fixed them, too. Ron, Joe, and Damian were really nice! One day my akita couldn't climb the stairs from the deck to the house, so Ron carried him in! Not very many people would do that and I really appreciated it -thank-you Ron. Our deck and retaining wall with flagstone look better than we could have imagined.We are getting many compliments. I would recommend Briar St. Builders to all who need any work done on their home.

Jerome Silvernagle is quick, personable and willing to dscuss your options. The work was fabulous! It was done quickly and as requested. I would definitely use these folks for anything you need done!!!!
