Bridgewater Fence

This project went fairly smoothly. The paint did wear in less than a year but we were able to just touch it up ourselves. Other than that, it seems fine.

We were very happy with the finished product. A key point on this project is that Ted came in with a bid for our project that was about half as much of another fence company (that we had used in the past). So the price was right and the finished product was nice. They even handled a couple of special conditions that we had to deal with. So overall everything was positive. Our only issue was a delay from the original schedule of the project due to the suppliers.

I am beyond frustrated and disapointed with the work performed at my home. I paid $5,300 for a fence with vinyl gates that self close due to the fact that we have an inground pool. Within a week after install, both gates completely detached from the hinges and hit the ground. I called to get service from Bridgewater Fence and they came out shortly after. Ted informed us that the screws they used were too short and needed replacing but he "temporarily" repaired the problem. He assured us he would soon be back to permanantly repair the problem. that was the last we saw of this man. He has not even had the common decency to return one of the many phone calls I have left him. My husband is now as I write enroute to Home Depot to get advise and buy what is needed to do our own repair on our brand new fence. Let me also add that prior to Mr. Larkin being paid......I NEVER had an issue getting ahold of him. He would answer that phone on the second ring. I suppose he got his money and now we are left to fix his mistakes. I would NOT reccomend him to anyone.

We decided to hire Ted Larkin from Bridgewater Fence because of so many good reviews. We can now echo those good reviews. Ted was a week earlier than he originally told us. That was great as we were anxious to get the work done. He had a great suggestion on part of the fence area that was much better than our original plan. We had one small area that needed to be corrected when he was finished. He came back the next day and took care of it. His work was fast, accurate, and neat. My fence looks great! I was able to put up a fence that was less expensive than I originally wanted because Bridgewater Fence (Ted Larkin) explained that a cedar fence was a better choice than PVC or Vinyl for what I was looking for - (privacy and noise reduction.) There was no sales pressure, the fence was installed on time, the clean up was fantastic (in fact - cleaner than when they arrived!), the cost was less than I had originally budgeted, and the fence looks better than I anticipated. Absolutely would recommend Bridgewater Fence to anyone looking for quality work! Very trustworthy company.
