Brodie Construction Company

Hi there! Thanks for coming to the New Life Homes/Service Magic webpage. New Life Homes is made up of Bob Brodie and Vaughn Blaylock. Bob is a NC General Contractor and Real Estate Broker with over twenty years of experience. Vaughn (that's me) has about 12 years of experience in various aspects of construction from actual hands-on nail-banging to the construction management of several new homes at one time. I manage the new construction side of the company and take care of all aspects of our service related work as well. Bob and I pride ourselves on our professionalism, enthusiasm for our customer's projects (no matter how small) and what I like to call our 'value-added' products, ranging from our status as authorized dealers of granite and marble countertops, as well as a solid-surface product, Amerinite, to our unique personal connections with suppliers of everything from contemporary vessel-style sinks to faucets, lighting, home automation systems, hardware and anything else you can dream up. The services and products we provide include ( but are certainly not limited to): * New Construction Homes (Stick Built) * Decorative Brickwork - Such as Patios (did you kow that brick is the most economical decking material available?), Exterior Brick Fireplaces and Grills (custom designed for your setting), Retaining Walls, Ponds, Fountains and Mailboxes (those pretty little mailboxes you see in upscale neighborhoods) and anything else brick related that you could possibly think of! * Flooring - Laminate Wood (for high-traffic areas), Real Hardwood (finished or unfinished), Ceramic, Marble and Porcelain Tile (pretty self-explanatory there). We also have affiliations with hardwood floor and ceramic tile suppliers at great prices! * Electrical Services - Electrical problems? Give us a call first and see how fast a certified NC electrician arrives at your door! * Landscaping Services - Flower Beds (sorry, no lawn maintenance), Tree Planting, Driveways, etc. * Cabinets - Pre-Fab (i.e. like the Kraftmaid and Thomasville cabinets that you see in Home Depot and Lowe's), and on some occasions, we will fabricate a set of cabinets for your kitchen, home office or living room. * Roofing, Painting, Drywall, Drywall Repair and simple home maintenance tasks that most people either can't or wont do! Essentially, we can do just about anything it is that you'll need done. Be sure to give us a call at 336.382.7741. Any messages I receive will usually be returned within the hour unless I'm out of cell range. Since we deal with many homeowners who work traditional hours, our own hours are pretty liberal, generally running from 7:30 AM until 7:30 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM until 3 PM Saturday. You can email me if you wish at eccgblaylock@hotmail.com. If you have a drawing of your project idea, feel free to scan it and send it on! Again, thanks for looking, we appreciate your business. Best Regards, Vaughn A. Blaylock New Life Homes 336.382.7741 eccgblaylock@hotmail.com
