From the first moment of contact (requesting a quote) to the final piece of furniture coming off the truck, this company was exemplary. Lynn was very responsive and the movers were prompt, respectful of our furniture and personable. This company is located furthest from our move but they had better pricing than local movers. I highly recommend this company and will use them again if I ever move!

Our long-distance move from Chicago to Denver went without a hitch. Everyone went above and beyond. Lynn was very responsive and the crews in both locations were excellent. Crew chief and driver, Ken, was the best! Everything was packed and delivered in less than a week with no losses or damage. We were on the third floor in Chicago and it was raining during loading. In Denver, our townhome has four floors, so not an easy task! So pleased we went with Broms!! Highly recommend!

Professionals. Used floor coverings, in the houses, wrapped all nicer furniture with pads, worked straight through. Had one random issue with truck backing in and snagging a cable line, the owner addressed this promptly with no hassles. Absolutely would use them again and recommend.

Don t do it yourself. It was worth it to have their team orchestrate your move. They were timely, caring, and respectful of your possessions.

Overall, a great experience! The office team, including Lynn Broms, was fantastic! Highly organized, prompt, knowledgeable, and consultative in their sales approach. The crew of movers (4 in total) arrived promptly and worked hard throughout a VERY hot and humid day to complete our move in a timely and careful manner. They were very pleasant to work with, and took great care to protect the properties and the belongings, ensuring that we were fully satisfied before wrapping up at the end of the job. They were highly experienced and took time to plan and organize the work before starting, and made recommendations throughout to ensure that things were done in the most efficient and cost effective way possible. I would strongly recommend them and hire them again.

Made the move as easy as a move can be (which is never easy.)

This was a local move of some furniture and Lynn quoted me a price based on 3 people and truck. The crew was very professional and wrapped all the furniture so nothing was broken or nicked in the process. I would certainly use them again. They also follow up before the move to ensure the schedule was current.

We moved from Highland Park, IL to Manhattan. Lynn Broms was friendly and helpful. Most importantly, she was creative and flexible, which ended up saving us a good amount of money in the end. :-) We did almost all of the packing ourselves, all they packed were some art work, which they did an excellent job at. Move-out and move-in happened on-time. One thing that I really appreciated is that two of the 4 move-out people were also on the move-in crew, so there was continuity. Both teams were good-natured and worked well together. (I've read reviews of other companies where the team bickered.) The only negative thing I can mention is that one of the book boxes ended up split along one corner. No contents were lost or damaged. Turns out I was largely at fault because I didn't pack that box all the way up to the top, like Lynn had advised me to do. The result is that since book boxes are normally at the bottom of the pile, the boxes on top weakened and split the box I hadn't packed right. But no harm done, they just had to carry it carefully. I would use Broms again in an instant.

Ken and his crew worked extremely hard all day to get my family moved out of our house and an offsite storage unit and into our new house. They worked hard, had a great attitude and were a pleasure to have around that day. They made sure everything was where we wanted it before leaving after a very long day. Their effort was great. The schedulers Lynn and Jodie were also very resourceful. The called several times leading up to my move to make sure I had everything I needed to execute on move day. Would definitely recommend using them in the future.

From the moment I called inquiring about moving our piano, I was treated with friendly, knowledgeable service. Jody was great scheduling the move. The 3 man crew that came to our house were very friendly & professional. I would hire them again.

the guys were professional, energetic, helpful. They did a quick look around of what we needed to move determined the best way to load the truck and got it done. Would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Booking and follow up were very easy! I only had 2 issues; 1) 3 guys were sent, 2 were middle aged and 1 was older. All were nice but the older gentleman didn't do much. It would have gone much faster if there was a 3rd guy moving items. 2) The 2 guys agreed to take some larger items I was trashing out to the alley. I didn't think to look until after they left... they just tossed them in front of my neighbor's parked car. Totally blocked him in and didn't say anything to me. There was clearly space on the other side of the garage so I moved them over myself. I notified the owner when she came with the paperwork to sign. She let them know as I took out their tips and made them apologize. Not the worst but I would have at least expected them to say something to me if they didn't know where to put the items (and it was pretty obvious).

Booking was easy and great follow up. My only feedback is that the 2 gentlemen who came to move my items were elderly and slower than I would have expected. My niece and I ended up moving a lot of the smaller items so I could stay within the booking window that I arranged. Both men were friendly and helpful just slow. I would defiantly use Broms, Inc., for future moves.
