We hired Mr. Bromwell to replace a failed sump pump. He came when he said he would but left saying he had to order a part. I had to call him to get him to come back. Then, we wanted a back up to the electrical supply in case of power outage. Again, ordering a part. Repeated calling. Finally brought the part. The pump screeched. He came out again. Said he thought it was an electrical problem and said he would send an electrician. One never came. Not only that but he left all the broken parts of the original pump for us to dispose of. I then called Tim Kyle Electric. Their man said the wiring was a mess, ends of wires not connected, the lid to the battery didn't match the box. The battery back up doesn't go on when the electric is turned off. He's never seen anything like it. Recommended we call Apple plumbing to get it straightened out. We are into this project for almost $1000 and now we have to spend more.

"Original problem-main sump pump failed. 8/24/2018 New Goulds sump pump installed, (three weeks later which on my part, lack of communication and time) 09/17/2018 Installed new battery back up sump pump, less battery homeowner wanted to use the old battery. Pump alarm did respond to the loss of power, the homeowner did not know how to reset. I spoke to him on the phone to help him reset and it was back to working order. I got a call a few days later that it wasn't working properly so I went to the home and the wires were disconnected, showed Mr.E how to reset. It happened again and he disconnected it and left the wires a mess (per Tim Kyles technician). I said I would talk to my electrician, not send one. Not sure about that battery box lid. If the electricity is off the backup won't respond unless the water is high. Battery backup only comes on when water is approximately two inches from the top unless it's manually checked. Mrs E mailed a letter with similar complaints. I called, apologized for any inconvenience and was willing to go back to her home and go over everything. This of course, would not have cost her anything at this point. She was polite but refused and thanked me for calling."

Bromwell plumbing is a family owned business that treats you like a friend. They always return my calls promptly with care and concern for my issue. Their pricing is very fair. I have had multiple issues throughout the years where Greg or Pam will walk me through a DIY solution that saves me time and money. And when I have a larger issue they always come up with the most cost effective and best solution. Honest, knowledgeable, reliable and friendly. Thank you Greg, Pam and Hayden!

Mr. Bromwell and his assistant, Hayden, were a breath of fresh air. They knew exactly what was needed to correct our problem of air in our water lines, which was causing water to sputter from the faucets and the toilets to make horrendous noises. They are very professional, on time and excellent to work with. Highly recommend them.

Tankless Water Heater - Install
I hired Bromwell's to replace, what I thought, were a failed kitchen disposal and a hot water heater due for replacement. He unjammed the disposal, and suggested I did not need to replace the water heater. He repaired a leaking faucet and removed a severe blemish in the sink instead. All at a most reasonable fee. He's the best! There's no one more honest, efficient, and qualified - THE BEST!

Gas Piping
I searched home advisor for a certified plumber, to help with a gas piping issue, on a holiday weekend and received a call immediately that same day. We worked out a service schedule and Mr. Bromwell (and his helper) were on time, thorough, and very friendly. They were able to discover the gas piping issue and fix it right away...they also went through to make sure everything else was working properly once the gas was restored. I was pleasantly pleased with the service, knowledge, and flexibility of this company. I will certainly use in the future and recommend this company.

Would highly recommend Bromwell's. They were very responsive when I sent my inquiry through Home Advisor. Greg and Hayden showed up on time, and walked me through everything they were doing to fix the leak. They tried to minimize any drywall damage while making the repair, which is much appreciated!! Overall, fantastic experience...will definitely be using them again for any plumbing jobs.

Greg and his assistant came on time and they were not only friendly, very nice, and knowledgeable, but they were perfectly competent. I'm not experienced in prices, but I think the price was good. I am very happy with them and I'm relieved that I've found a plumber that I will use with confidence.

Water Heater - Repair or Service
Loved the guys that came to fix my water heater. Responded immediately and had great communication. Very professional and friendly. My only issues were the price - it seemed expensive for the minimal amount of work done (replacing a blown fuse) but I'm not in the business so perhaps the rate was standard. Also, I suppose you pay for what you get and what I got was stellar work and service - and the fact that they don't take credit cards. Overall it was a great experience and I would hire/recommend again.
