Brooks' Comfort Zone

Beware of this contractor. They talk you into a two year maintenance contract and then bow out saying they aren't the company for you because you point out they have missed and been late on appointments. They also have questionable tactics about telling you that you need replacement parts and then dont want to leave the old part for your inspection. When they cancelled on me, they said they sent a refund for the one year of maintenance they were refusing to perform but I didn't get it and got ignored after asking about it several times. You are also supposed to get a discount of 15% with a maintenance contract but you better check your invoice, usually not provided until a day after they get money from you, because they conveniently forget to apply it even after you ask if they did before you pay. Im making an official complaint against this company for fraud.

It took a little longer than expected and probably way more work than anticipated. Still need to finish the ac but the heat works like a charm and so quiet.

What an awesome business. They were on time, professional, and hard working. They stayed late to finish the job. When they saw the adjustments I made to my bathroom vent, they customized a damper so I can have the perfect temperature, for bathing my dog. Our home is older and the water lines were placed in a way that was very intrusive. They moved the lines and gave us new water lines, to our hot water heater. I'm so glad I hired local. I had set an initial appointment with this company and they were late with no phone call so I left my house to go back to work. I made a second appointment thinking things happen. I called 20 minutes after the time they were supposed to arrive with no answer-I left a message. I didn't receive a follow up phone call until 45 minutes after the appointment time. I did not reschedule, obviously.

Company was on time, quick, had bad news and were gone. I am getting a couple more bids and will put them on the list to call.

They came out twice to revise the first bid since we made some changes and had questions. They were on time and answered all our questions. They replaced out gas furnace and water heater. Since we were having trouble with out old gas furnace, they offered to repair it for nothing until they could get to our installation. Very friendly and hard working.
