Brooks Heating & Air Conditioning

Brooks Heating & Air Conditioning was recommended by my realtor. I contracted Brooks to evaluate the HVAC systems for a new home purchase. Every question and concern I could think of, Robert thoroughly explained the issues & options available to remedy the situations, including the Federal Tax incentives. No high pressure, 10 year warranty on work by the company. In retrospect now, no paperwork either. I did use Brooks Heating & Air-conditioning to handle my HVAC needs post purchase. Months have passed, Robert has not given me any invoices or paperwork for the $17,000 of work he did here. I only have included owners/operation manuals included with the units themselves. I do not have proper paperwork for the High Efficiency tax credit program, costing me thousands of dollars. He fails to return calls & messages. If you still choose to deal with Brooks Heating, get everything in writing beforehand, hold back funds until all your work is completed. Don't let the 'nice guy' fool you too

Robert, the owner of Brooks HVAC is not reliable, he charged me full price and was paid in full to fix my gas fireplace, but never showed back up to complete the job. He doesn?t answer his phone, can?t leave a message because his mailbox is full, he doesn?t respond to my texts or emails. Now I?m out $420.00 and he never came back. I opened a complaint with the Better Business Bureaux and have contacted my attorney for advice going forward.

No high pressure, scare tactic, drum up business going on. More akin to talking to a brother in law or cousin trying to assista family member. I chose to use Brooks Heating & Air-conditioning to handle my post purchase HVAC needs with a new mutiroom mini-split system. Robert & his team were very thorough. They howed up on time each time, and very respectful of my new home while working here. I would not hesitate about who to call for future home projects.

Showed up, ahead of schedule very friendly very understanding took an entire look at the system realized that it wasn't going to be as complicated as he originally had estimated which saved me about 300 bucks and I'll tell you this guy is just awesome. I've never met a more down-to-earth individual in the trades and all of my life and I highly recommend his service and I wish him much success. My mini split blower fell off the wall in my living room and he came in rehung it was in and out in 30 minutes. Amazing guy.

Brooks gave me a very reasonable quote to electively relocate my condenser from my patio to the side of the house. I gave him a deposit and he was there the next week to do the work. Unfortunately, he found an unexpected problem which required more work than we bargained for. The unit was leaking refrigerant into the condensate pump. Really grateful that he found the issue, as it would undoubtedly have failed at some point in the near future. We would've been without AC in mid-summer and still would've had to make the repairs. Less reputable companies might have just done the work that was quoted, filled the low refrigerant, and then come back 2 months later for the double tap. Not Robert. He put our initial deposit towards the new work and went the extra mile to make things affordable. Work was completed in a single day of the following week. Robert was polite, professional, respectful of our property, and just all around great to work with.

Figured out the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. Very clean and neat also recommended we have an electrician out to further diagnose as true problem seems to be electrical.

Bobby did a great install on my 2 new ductless units as of recent and previous had installed a ductless system for other rooms in my house. Trustworthiness is very high, good price and great workmanship. A++++

Responded to my request in less than an hour, got us up and running again within 24hrs, diagnosed the problem quickly and made the final repair quickly. Gives an on-site quote for repair. Very professional and highly knowledgeable. Also advises of any additional problems he sees that needs to be addressed. Highly recommend.
