Beware. Michael Brooks sold us what we?d expected to be a new oven. When it arrived it was clearly used. It was so close to the Thanksgiving holiday that we decided to just move forward. The worst mistake. It took weeks for them to actually install and from the start the oven only worked properly occasionally. They made a mess of the install and once the oven stopped heating and displaying the time (less than 3 months later) Brooks was non responsive or would claim he was coming and wouldn?t show. A terrible experience that I would recommend you avoid entirely. Dishonest and unprofessional.

You need to be honest and fair with people.

I was promised three new appliances, with installation. All three appliances have issues. Project is still not complete after 8 months. Very unhappy.

Clear explanation of the issue and solid recommendations

Mr. Brooks was very responsive when I expressed my dissatisfaction. He immediately attempted to fix the problem and eventually did. I was satisfied, the quality of his services was never in question.

Michael was very rude and laughed when I asked how much time is needed for the work to be completed to assessed how much is quoting per hour for the job. He offered some shady deals on new appliances for cash. Beware of such deals!

It took Michael about 30 seconds to assess the installation problem that others couldn't resolve. 30 minutes later it WAS resolved. He came fully prepared and navigated a pretty uncomfortable installation. He guaranteed the work and materials used at a very reasonable price. I recommend Brooks for any appliance installation. I let Michael know that Brooks is not at the top of my list...Brooks IS the list.

Cleaned out the dust and dirt now my freezer works great.

They were very efficient and cordial. I was a little surprised by the price. Next time I would get more than one estimate

They not only came out and fixed the problem but explained the problem, what the chances were of the problem reoccurring, the expenses that may occur and options in the purchase of a new or refurbished machine. At no time was he leaning us into our decision. We will be hanging onto their business card and recommending them to others. Read their business description on their website.

He came when he said he would. Didnâ t waste time got right to work. Had the part with him and was very knowledgeable. He was done in a manner of minutes. He was properly masked and kept his distance.

I used this company to repair my stobe. Mr. Brooks, the owner, is professional and knowledgeable. I am using him to service my dryer as well. I definitely would recommend Brooks Appliance

Very quick and efficient.

I didn't have an install, I needed to have the carbon igniter replaced. Michael was very professional and polite. Started promptly and finished quickly, left the old part for recycling. I am pleased to be able to cook/bake again! Was surprised that his business is located so far away (I'm in NW Cook Co. and he came from SE Cook Co). I would definitely use this service again. Thank you Michael for helping me avoid the purchase of a new gas range!

Michael was on time, courteous and professional. He texted when he was on his way and even cleaned the lint from our dryer that he fixed and found 16 dollars in change in our dryer.

Received estimate indicating 3 parts were needed at the cost of $180.00.Repairman replaced 1 part which cost at most $59.95.I would advise checking the cost of parts prior to signing the agreement. Trust placed in Home Advisor to vet service people recommended. Will not use service in the future.

Tech (Brooks) stated repairs could not be made on the washing machine and a new purchase would cost around $500-$700. Charged $55 for a service call. Sought out different repair company on my own and repair was completed for about $200 (simple belt and motor replacement). Tech also committed to providing me with firm replacement cost and inventory levels; I never heard back from tech with replacement details. Disappointing as had multiple jobs for him to complete in the future. Property manager/owner of multiple properties.

Top grade professional, but not the friendliest sort.
