Brown lawn care service

Brown Landscaping was hired by me on April 20, 2026, to provide lawn care services in Union, Mississippi. The agreement was for the company to cut the grass on a monthly basis for two properties. I submitted my request for lawn care services through Angi s website and was contacted by Brown Landscaping. Each time the company claimed that the lawn service had been completed, I received a text message notifying me that the work had been performed, along with pictures that were presented as proof of the completed service. Based on these representations, I made payments of $200.00 through Cash App for the lawn care services. In total, I have paid Brown Landscaping $1,240.00. Because I live in Chicago and was unable to personally inspect the properties, I decided to have a relative who lives nearby confirm that the lawn care services were actually being performed. My relative informed me that the grass had not been cut and that the lawn was overgrown. I then contacted Brown Landscaping regarding the situation. I have copies of the text messages between myself and the company, including the company s responses regarding the lawn service. I also have copies of the messages and photographs that were sent to me indicating that the work had supposedly been completed. Based on what I have now learned, I believe I paid for lawn care services that were not performed. I am requesting a refund for all payments associated with services that were not actually provided. I have documentation to support my complaint, including: * Copies of text messages with Brown Landscaping * Pictures sent to me as evidence that the lawns had supposedly been cut * Cash App payment records totaling $1,240.00 * Information from my relative confirming that the lawns were overgrown and had not been cut I am prepared to provide screenshots of the text messages, photographs, and payment records upon request. I am asking that this matter be investigated and that I receive a refund for the lawn care services that were paid for but not performed.

We needed someone to make our front and back yard look good for putting our house on the market. Required mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, the works! These guys responded right away and got to work and made everything look very nice! Satisfied customer!!
