It has been a year since the job was completed. Now I have 4 different leaks. Call the number and it hangs up. Called Lora B. and left a message. No call back yet. The website is down. Emails to the owner Nick R. bounce. Emails to Lora B. do not bounce back. I thought by going through a service like HomeAdvisor or Angies List I would get someone reputable. BBB has them with a D-.

Love the finished product. But do not expect a call when you find a problem or DAMAGE to your home. If you cannot see it they want to tell you about it. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO CHECK YOUR WHOLE HOUSE for any damage. Or have someone to inspect it for you. Before you pay for the JOB. Because after they get the money they sure want to return your call. I have leftover 18 messages in the last month, still no return call. Not sure if a person has a warranty how you will be able to put a claim on it, cause the company will not return a call. They talk a good talk, but not the walk. VERY POOR COMPANY.

Hilton (our salesperson), Lora (insurance coordinator / scheduler), and Andrew (inspected the roof) were all professional & great to work with. The labors were very nice, polite, & did a fine job. Just wish the laborers had taken a few more photos of one damaged area. We would definitely recommend them to our family & friends.

Make sure you have your measurements for square footage of roof as the initial quote was over what my actual measurements were. He used phone app to measure so may have been problem with app and not intentional but they over measured by almost 1000 sq ft which adds up to a lot of $$. We remeasured and he gave me an accurate quote that they honored without any hidden fees but be careful for replaced wood as that is extra from the quote and can add up. They sent an 8 man crew and they had my roof finished in less than a day including stripping old shingles, replacing some wood, laying roof and clean up. They did a good job other than a few small issues that they came back and finished up. Overall happy with the job and quality I got for my money. I would recommend to my friends.

Update to original review 7/9: After I posted my original review, Brownstone contacted me and someone came out that Friday and did some of the work promising to be right out Saturday and/or Monday to finish. Again, they did not come back. Original review on 6/24: A year later, and they still have not completed the project. I am so tired of ...sending someone right out... and multiple people giving me different dates. I paid for roofing plus covered gutters and not only have not gotten the covered gutters, but they have not even completely done the uncovered ones. They took out my downspouts and have not replaced with anything. I realize when I started the contract it was weird weather, and they were busy but the scheduling was always confused according to who I talked to. On the plus side, they did immediately put a patch on the worst leak. And when they finally did send out roofers that portion was quickly done and with the product ordered. I was an absolute idiot for trusting the supervisor who showed up the last day they were working on the gutters who asked for final payment saying it would save him a trip, they were so busy, and that they would be right back for cleanup and to finish installing the gutters. I am fed up with the **send someone right out** that never happens and lack of communication with these guys. The roof is great but the work is not completed nor has cleanup been done. I take that back, they may have come back to retrieve a ladder left in my backyard (or someone stole it).

My roof looks amazing. I couldn't be more pleased. Hilton was very helpful and informative during the whole process. The crew that put the roof in my house were great. They were polite and efficient. They also did a great job cleaning up when they left. They went over my yard several times with the magnet picking up roofing nails.
