Codey did an excellent job of replacing my old rusted out metal tank with a new heavy duty plastic one with an electric pump. That work was well done. And it was a difficult job because of the super cold weather, and seemingly non-stop rain. However, he was virtually impossible to get in touch with after the installation, even though I had questions about the tank, the alarm box, and questions about where the sprinkler lines were located before they were broken out to put in the new tank (which was expected). Because the excavator left huge ruts in my patio and front side gardens, and a giant mound of mud was left in the patio garden (leftover dirt/mud that did not get packed back in after the tank was installed), the sopping mud turned my lawn and patio into a giant mass of sloshing red clay. Even though Codey said he would be back in the spring to repack the mound around the tank, after a couple of days, I knew I had to deal with the mud problem before spring. I hired landscapers to remove the mud mound, fill in the excavator ruts left behind, re-sod the grass, and repair the sprinklers. That's when I started trying to get in touch with Codey again. The landscapers went to work right away re-packing the mud around the tank, and removing the rest of the mud mound. Then, they started to rebuild a retaining wall that had to be partially taken down to put in the tank (also expected), but they wanted to know where to look for the sprinkler lines that had to be removed to put in the tank. I texted Codey several times with no response. I emailed him and got no response. I also called him more than 10 times, and some of those calls couldn't even go through because his voicemail was full. Only once did he call back with any message, but I wasn't able to answer the phone at that time. His polite and kind voicemail said he would be happy to drop by and show me where the sprinklers pipes needed repair. As I missed that call, I kept calling him back, asking him to contact me again, in any way he wanted, because I still had questions about the tank, and the landscapers did not want to take apart work they had already done in the yard, just to look for broken pipes. He never called back again, or texted, or emailed, no matter how many times I kept trying to contact him. So, today, the landscapers are digging up work they already did, in hopes of finding the broken lines, which is causing them more work, and costing me more money. I wont deny that I am disappointed. Good business isn't just doing the work, customer service, even after the work is done, needs to be part of the job as well. As it is, even though Codey told me I need to contact him if the electric pump stops working or the alarm goes off, I won't. I will call someone else. But I will say, even though I was disappointed in his customer service, he did many things right. He is a very intelligent and skilled young man, with a good work ethic and a positive attitude. He made sure his work was permitted and passed inspection. He gave me all the right paperwork to keep for information. He works very hard and is an expert with an excavator. He just needs to work on his customer service.
