Jarrod and Eric installed a retaining wall against a back slope on our property. Job was calculated and completed in accordance to their bid/estimate. If they were going to be late in the morning, they always called to let us know the new ETA--cannot predict traffic....! If i hear of anyone else in our rural area that needs this type of work, done I'll make sure they contact Jarrod & Eric

Jarrod and Eric installed two retaining walls and rebuilt a path on the slope in my backyard. The work was extensive and from the beginning they worked hard to come up with solutions. Once the work started they always showed up on time and kept us abreast on what they were doing. They also kept checking with us to make sure that the we were happy with the work. Once they were done (on time) they continued to check to make sure that the work met our expectations. I had some second thoughts about part of the path and they installed a few steps immediately. Very professional and trustworthy. I would absolutely use them again for another project.

They were excellent, and willingly and quickly returned to correct a small issue.

Bruce and his son, Jarrod, did an amazing job on my retaining wall/brow ditch and it turned out much better than I anticipated. I not only have a beautiful retaining wall but now have greater peace of mind every time it rains! Hard to believe so many 5-star reviews, but its all true. It is a pleasure to recommend Gordon General Contracting aka Bruce K. Gordon and Jarrod Gordon. They are both easy to work with, knowledgable and hard working. Our project included excavating and repairing rock walls for erosion control. We had difficult site access and they were extremely careful not damaging plants with the heavy equipment. They started the project on time as promised and stayed with it until it was completely finished. Bruce and Jarrod were always thinking outside the box and how to get things done in the most cost efficient way although it meant more labor for them. Our communications and their costing were very transparent and fair. Their main goal is for the client/customer to get the best result. It is very difficult to find contractors these days that are so proud of their work, knowledgable and won’t leave until the customer is happy. We highly recommend the Gordons.

Bruce and son Jarrod, came out to access my situation. Unsure of where my septic tank was and what the issue was with it, they spent close to three hours (at no charge) digging it up, and figuring out what my next course of action should be; giving me 3-4 options. I look forward to having them complete the project once I decide the next step.

Bruce and Jarrod took great care with my drainage project. The results were amazing and I look forward to the next rain without worrying about standing water in my yard and flooding through my tool shed.

Scope of the Project: Excavate/Grading- Repairing eroded slope and Forming a concrete Brown-ditch. We recently purchased a house overlooking a cliff. Running down the hillside was a ravine created by years of erosion from water runoff that was ignored by the former owner. We spoke with several service providers to repair the problem. We received the most reasonable price and the most precise job descriptions to repair the problem from Bruce and Jarrod. Bruce and Jarrod heartily took care of our problem as if it was their own. They are very professional and prompt in completing the work. Very impressive! Bruce and Jarrod helped us by communicating with the HOA(s) due to the local easement issues. This was the extra value of service that we did not expect, but they did it. Bruce also spoke with the surrounding neighbors to learn more about previous flooding issues. After the work was done, Bruce and Jarrod stopped by several times to follow up on their work after the recent heavy storm from El Nino. Thus far, the erosion down the hillside has stopped. The heavy water run-off has been diverted to the appropriate drainage without causing further flooding. Both Bruce and Jarrod are caring people, and it is hard to find people of good hearts like them nowadays. They did a very great job!
