Bruce Kunkle Heating & Cooling

Bruce offered a unique solution to heating/AC. He was the only lone who recommended a Duel Fuel option. We now have heat pumps using electricity at a very efficient rate to cool and heat when the outside temperature is above 40 degrees, colder & a Trane furnace takes over. I'll monitor costs to see if total electric/gas bill reduces. Bruce & team efficiently installed equipment & did a reasonable job of restoring basement to its original condition. This could have been better, but it would have been an almost impossible job. There was a call back needed due installation requirements of township & difficult thermostat installation.

I found Bruce Kunkle personable, fair, and knowledgeable. The issue I had was our air conditioner stopped working. Unlike the other two companies who were going to charge me for a service charge, Bruce did it for free, since his office was so close to my home. Bruce and the other two companies had hourly rates for parts and labor, for repairs, however, Bruce indicated the unit was beginning to leak and a repair would just delay the need for a new air conditioner. Ultimately, Bruce said I could still buy a new unit, not with the new regulations, because some companies still have a few older ones in inventory that need to be sold. As a result I paid less than the other companies were going to charge me.

He recommended a dual-fuel set-up for my application. He was a good listener, patient, and informative during the process of determining the most cost effective system for the application.

Bruce is very knowledgeable regarding geothermal heating and cooling. I would recommend him to friends and family.

I obtained four quotations to install a new two-stage furnace. Bruce seemed to be the most knowledgeable. Additionally, since I talk on the phone all day, we communicated via e-mail for the entire installation process.

Our unit is not totally installed yet so I cannot rate on quality, timeliness, budget or value. But so far with work that has been done we are satisfied. Send another opinion report in a couple of weeks. Thank you
