Very friendly and they do a great job

They were on time, courteous, and worked around our schedule. The day they came out we we're moving into our house and they worked with us the time so we could also move our belongings.

My front yard had a multilevel section that had collapsed and most of the bushes had died. Kevin suggested replacing the original landscape timbers with stone, and the result is a three-tiered landscape that definitely enhances the curb appeal of the house. They also replaced the gates on my privacy fence, which badly needed replacing. The workers were friendly and professional, and the final cost matched the estimate.

Polite and friendly workers. Respectful, and went above and beyond what they said they would do. Overall - extremely satisfied and happy with the work/project we hired them for.

UPDATE; He won't work with me and I am forced to take him to Justice Court. Kevin Bruce DOES NOT STAND BY HIS WARRANTY! We had a 3" Texas Redbud tree installed on 5/19/17, but it never took off. We were instructed to water deeply for 4 days and every other day for two weeks, which we did, but the tree deteriorated. We thought the problems were caused by the hot dry weather; we'd had some rain, but certainly not more than usual this time of year. So I began to water the tree a little every day when I watered my potted plants. I DID NOT WATER EXCESSIVELY (which is hard to do in Texas in the summer anyway!). We decided that perhaps the soil around the tree had become hard and water couldn't get to the roots, so we moved the heavy mulch, intending to poke a few holes around the root ball. To our horror, we discovered that the tree was STANDING IN WATER! I called Kevin, who sent his tech out, who told me I'd overwatered, but that the tree should survive if I'd stop watering so much. Then the tech said, "THE HOLE WAS FULL OF WATER WHEN WE TOOK THE LIVE OAK OUT AND INSTALLED THE RED BUD." Kevin called to follow up and TOLD ME THE SAME THING. He blamed the overwatering on an adjustment made to the bubbler time, which we increased by just 5 minutes twice a week, and my hand-watering every day. I had a tree service out to confirm that the tree would survive after all the trauma, and was told it was already dead. I talked to and sent photos to the National Association of Arborists, our local Master Gardener's Association and several other tree services in order to determine if the fault was indeed mine. TO A PERSON, they asked, "Why did the landscaper install a tree in a hole that was already full of water? Why didn't the installer tell you about the water?" My questions exactly. Plus, why was I told to water after the installation if the tree was planted in a hole full of water?? We trusted Kevin Bruce to advise us regarding a good tree and to plant it correctly then stand by his warranty, but he did none of these things. I've texted, called and emailed Kevin Bruce in order to get a new tree, installed properly. The only communication I've received is AN EMAIL VOIDING THE WARRANTY! Too bad we had such a negative experience with this company on this project. The workers are very nice young men and worked really hard on the first project they did for us and we would have used them again. Now we're out the money for another tree and installation since our HOA requires a tree in that place, probably at least another $500. Kevin Bruce lost a good customer and a positive referral, all over a failure to keep his word. In addition, I have a signed 365-day warranty for plants from the first installation in February/March that have died, but NOT ONE PLANT has been replaced even though I've told Kevin and his tech about the dead plants. We initially contracted Bruce's to repair our irrigation system, and despite the tech's insistence that all was working correctly,

Communication was very good and I felt confident that we would receive quality work for the amount of money we were investing in the project. If you choose to hire this business to repair sheetrock or ceilings, ask HOW they will perform the repairs and ask for good quality paint to be used. We paid for quality repairs and got "band-aids" on the issues. We had to then try to repair their repairs and had to repaint one room because they used cheap paint. They re-worked a few things, before we paid the balance owed, but we still didn't get the quality of work we should have for the money. We paid them just to be rid of them, as we had heard enough of their "excuses" for why this is like this, and why that is like that.....blah, blah, blah. If they have a conscience, I hope they feel guilty for a long time. My husband still wants to take them to court.

Great price for a fantastic cleanup of ALL leaves.
