Great service and detail
Bryan reached out immediately after I submitted a request. He showed up the same day, took care of the issue, and was extremely courteous and friendly. He explained everything and kept it simple. The pricing was reasonable and he was very patient in making sure things worked before he left. I would absolutely use him again.
The repairman responded to my Handy or Angi app request and we agreed for him to come over the next day to look at my fridge/freezer. He was very punctual regarding the initial visit. He determined he needed to order 3 parts, had me pay him a $350 check as a deposit. He said it would take about a week and he would follow up and fix the issues with the fridge/freezer. Over a week went by. I called and texted him multiple times, even to only ask for him to acknowledge he received any of my calls or texts. He did not respond at all, over 2 weeks later. I can understand if the parts are taking him longer to receive than he expected. But he should at least respond and not leave me hanging. While his original visit was extremely punctual, following up was not. He ended up ghosting me for a considerable amount of time. I had to call Angi to get any kind of follow up. It turned out some of the time he had an infection. But he should have at least acknowledged my calls and texts. In the 2 months I had to wait, he did some research of parts needed to fix my fridge. Turned out the parts were no longer available. He said he had MacGyver skills that could find a workaround. But this took a very long time and he was difficult to get a hold of. Some of this time it turned out he was in the hospital for his infection. In the long run, we came to an agreement that he sent about a $200 refund check, keeping some money for the original service call, because he wouldn't be able to make it to my house again. I understand his condition affected his service. But he definitely could have been more punctual over that time to let me know what was going on. I'm not sure he would have ever called back had I not called Angi for a complaint.
We hired Bryanâ s appliance service to repair our dryer. He did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us. He also was able to take a look at our kitchen appliances and save us from making unneeded repairs. I would recommend his services to anyone in need.
