It was adifficult job and the crew worked very hard.

This was originally a cosmetic project that turned into quite a bit more. Plaster walls needed to be removed, two ceilings removed and insulation needed to be placed. As far as ease, customer service was good. Communication was inconsistent. For example, the crew said they would be there on a week-end and were not. To be fair, they were told that I would be living in the house while the work was being done and I could not offer them all rooms to be worked on empty or at the same time. I was assured the crew would be able to move anything they needed to move. It was obvious to me that proper protection was not being used. For instance, I have curtains that I cannot rehang because they primed with the curtains hanging and got paint on the curtains. One floor needed to be sanded again and urethane applied because it was done hastily and the finish was rough. They contracted to do electrical and plumbing work, which could not be done. The plumbing work would have entailed more cost (not their fault) but the electrician, I was told, walked off the job to start his own company and they were unable to get another contractor by project end. Walls in the kitchen had to be painted multiple times due to uneven coverage. It was clear that tape was not used around doorways and that needed to be repainted. A light above the sink was added. They were told that the fixture that was there was originally a pull cord fixture and a switch would need to be added. That was done as an afterthought and I had to sleep with a light on in the kitchen that I couldn't turn off. The upstairs unit owners complained about general carelessness with the property, dust in their unit because precautions were not taken and multiple witnessed calls on speaker phone while outside smoking. I was told that at times very little work was going on and it was evident when I got home. There were things that got broken: a teapot, a dust mop and a broom that was damaged, none of which was told to me. I found one of my curtains outside in the garbage. A gouge was also evident on a shingle on the exterior of the house where they had placed a removed countertop and sink. The worst part of the project was the hanging of a front door common to our condo association. It was cut incorrectly. The door frame was cracked and broken where the strike plates are for the locks and another contractor had to be sought to fix the problem and make the entry safe. Three locks did not operate correctly and had to be brought to their attention. They were fixed, but the inconvenience and the safety issues left me unsettled until they were. I will say that the crew were very nice and easy to talk to. The issues that I had, and thus the rating, are clearly from a technical standpoint. They billed themselves as being professionals, yet that wasn't demonstrated to my expectations. The long and short of it is that the job was completed. Most of what was done is now acceptable, but it wasn't without problems and there is a front door issue that still needs attention. I would not rehire nor would I recommend.

The were attentive and quick to reply and work with all the scheduling snafus. They were just amazing and I can't wait to recommend them for more jobs.

Very polite, attentive to my needs. Work completed well. Communication as to when work would start could have been better. Workers could have been more tidy and clean up after themselves. Chipped paint was left in my porch and front yard. Some siding debris also left in one of my trash barrels; could have been put into a garbage bag for easier disposal.

I hired BST to work on replacing the exterior rotted wood trim and stairs on my front and back porch. They were one of the 3 contractors that I considered. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They explained the work that are needed and itemized them so I can understand the cost breakdown and decide what I wanted them to complete and what I may be able to tackle myself (I.e. re-stain the porch). The workers were friendly and kept the communication open and informed me the changes and progress as needed. They also did a good job cleaning up the work area after each day. I am happy with the work and will recommend them to friends.

Bst Clean took a house covered in a layer of dust after some reconstruction and made it look great again. I highly recommend their service. They were prompt in answering my initial inquiry, flexible in scheduling within a week of my initial request and their employees were friendly and professional
