Gas Piping
This was the worst experience with a plumbing contractor I have ever had. The task was to run a water line to the refrigerator and to run gas, hot, cold water and ventilation to a new stackable washer and dryer. All utilities were easily accessible and in a small house with crawl space above and below. The bill came in at $1600. When I investigated the labor was high (due to two techs when one was requested) and parts being marked up to 300% of what Home Depot sells them for. When I called Mr Buchanan and told him about it he ranted about him being a licensed plumber and went on about my house being a dump, which we are at the beginning of a complete remodel, admittedly it is. At the end of our conversation he agreed to look at my spreadsheet of the materials and get back to me. Three weeks... nothing. Buyer beware.

I'd been using another plumber that happened to be busy at the time of this project. Buchanans Plumbing came out the same day, stayed late, didn't charge extra for staying late, did a great job, and I haven't had any issues since.
