We had an issue with our aircon system at our apartment in Gainesville. Chester came out and did a thorough inspection, identifying that the compressor was dead. He gave a recommendation on the repair with a very detailed explanation to support his recommendation. Made a lot of sense to me and was the FIRST time any aircon person has taken the effort to do this. He gave a price that was reasonable and did a great job. Chester is very informative and has a lot of knowledge. He is keen to share his knowledge as an informed customer makes better decisions. He is a straight up guy and I would recommend Buckhalter to anyone.

When we turned on the AC for the first time this season, we discovered it was dead. Chester came out to look at it and gave it a thorough going over with all of the options. As old as our system was, we opted for a brand new system and we had it installed in less than a week. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional the whole time. Thanks, guys!

I highly recommend Buckhalter and Chester, specifically! We are new homeowners, and also new to Florida, so we have recently learned the importance of maintaining our A/C system. From the first time we connected with Buckhalter on Home Advisor, they were quick to contact us and set up a time for our service. They were very friendly and patient on the phone, and we were able to set up an appointment within a few days of calling. We signed up for the Silver service plan, but ultimately found out that our system needed some work. The first time Chester came to our home, he was very polite and spent lots of time explaining everything to us and patiently and expertly answering all of our questions (and we had many questions!). We explained some concerns about our system, and Chester took the extra time to figure out what might be going on, even though we had originally only requested preventative maintenance. Chester returned the next day, as promised, and fixed the issue with our unit. He spent the time to make sure everything was perfect, and didnâ t leave until he had checked all possible system components to make sure that our A/C was running at its best ability. I am sure that this unknown issue that needed fixing impacted Chesterâ s work schedule, but he was very kind to continue to work on our system until it was running perfectly. Our system has not run this well since we bought our home! We have an older system, so we wonâ t think twice about where to purchase our next system â we will call Buckhalter!

Mr. Buckhalter and his assistant came to our house to check out our problem. Some of our rooms were not as cool as others. They checked out our output and then adjusted our vents for better coverage of air in all rooms. They were very professional and very nice people to work with. We are very happy with their work.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Buckhalter Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. I have a very busy schedule, and they were able to work around it all. They were actually ready to do the work before I could even make time, and I appreciate them being readily available. I contacted a few companies, but they reached out to me before I even heard back from any other companies I contacted. Charles was easy to get in touch with, and tech savvy enough to work with me remotely through text and emails - which was very convenient for me. They were honest and upfront - glad they found me!
