Wayne was easy to hire, was able to come out for a no heat situation within a day and complete the repair right away. The problem was a chimney relining sorely overdue and unknown until heating season started for our new home. He fully explained how the repair would be done, used top quality materials and it is clear he takes his work seriously and will stand behind it. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again and recommend him to anyone who needs chimney work.

The exterior stucco on my chimney was crumbling and Buckley's did an amazing job redoing it for me. My chimney looks amazing and they went above and beyond taking care for landscaping and gutters as . The color and texture look original to the house.

Although overall they did a nice job, but they had very poor communication and I didn't know when they planned to start, and once they started, when they planned to be back to finish. I know he had another job going on, but some sort of communication would have been nice.

Let me first say that the quality of the work was outstanding. Wayne and his associate are skilled in stucco repair and new installation, they have many years of experience and the job turned out really well. Attention to detail of the work and the color needed for my job was excellent. The only reason I did not give the Buckley team a high customer service score is that it is tough to get in touch with them and to get responses. Also while my project was a small one -- and I totally understand that they were going to "fit me in" between bigger projects, I felt like I had to really track and dog after them to get the job done. It is hard being the owner and the skilled tradesman -- I understand -- but somehow they need to figure out a system of being able to communicate better with their customers. So -- once again - the job was done well, with quality, and with the right skills and experience -- it just took time and a bunch of calls and texts to keep it going. I would certainly use them again - -and set some timeframes and maybe ask for pricing incentives for project completion dates.

Took the company about 5 weeks to come back and put on a cap. Did not get response to phone calls. They need an office individual to take and return calls. Other then this issue they did a nice job.

Even though weather slowed down the job, Buckley's was able to work around it and complete the work when we needed it. They were professional and diligent. The chimney looks like new!

I have been using the services of Wayne Buckley @ Buckley's Chimney service for over 7 years.  <br /> I own rental properties in both PA and DE  Wayne is my go to guy for about everything from Chimney repair to concrete work and sometimes just advice on other contractors. <br /> I recently had him point two chimneys for me. He quoted me $1500.00 to $1700.00. The price ended up less than his lowest number. When I asked him why, he said " I over bid the Job" It looked more involved than it was.  <br /> I have referred Buckley's many times over the years. I consider him and his boy Dannie more friends than just a Contractor. <br />

I was just looking through the Angie's List Magazine and was shocked to see an add by Buckley's Chimney Service.  This is the first time I have written a review because I felt compelled to let people know our experience.  The project was a NIGHTMARE.  Wayne over promised with a fast talk and completely under delivered. <br /> He and his crew were a sloppy mess.  When destructing the old chimneys they did nothing to cover and protect  the cedar shakes or the landscaping.  The new furnace chimney he poorly built leaked a major amount of water from the third floor down to the first causing interior damage.  He tried to keep adding more calk to everything he could but the construction was incorrect from the start.  With in a year we had to have all three chimneys removed and new ones put in by a legitimate mason and craftsmen. <br /> While Wayne was here he had scaffold up for seven weeks. The project should have never taken that long but admittedly he was deer hunting and working on other jobs as well. On top of it all the plaster and debris were left piled in the gutters and around the property and heavy rain storms were in the forecast. I had furiously called Wayne to follow through and clean up and he appeared as the rain began to try and clear the gutters. <br /> Wayne advised we remove the inside dampers to two of the chambers and place on the top of the chimney.  He did nothing to put plastic to control dirt and dust inside the house and as professionals reviewed and commented Wayne had mutilated the old fireplaces. He asked for $2,500 right before Christmas as he said he had to pay his guys.  I gave him the money and never heard from him again.  At my age I didn't think I could be fooled that bad but I was.  It was one of the WORST contractor experiences. Wayne entered this project and left the property in worse shape than when he started. I have documented pictures of the entire experience.  I can see if a person gets in over their head on a project but showing up for a job to get it completed and respecting a persons home are the basics for any contractor. <br /> Although low estimates are tempting, it is true we only get what we pay for and it will cost much more time, money and stress in the end. <br /> <br />

In May, 2015, I mistakenly sent Buckley Chimney Services a check for services that he did not perform. When I first contacted him about the mistake, he admitted that he didn&apos;t recognize my name or job and that he would return my money within the week. I never received reimbursement. I left many messages and the few times I was able to speak with him he pretended it was a bad connection and said he would call back from his shop- he never returned any of my calls and has never returned my money. I can&apos;t give a review on his actual work because he never did any for me - he only took my money!! As far as I am concerned, this is a very unethical person and I would not recommend giving him any business !
