I feel I got scammed! I had a one bedroom apartment moved and traveled 30 miles for $800. For example, I told the movers that they will have to take the door off in order to remove my sofa from the apartment. Of course, they measured and try to prove me wrong. After an hour of trying to get it out of my apartment, the eventually had to take the door off and proceed to take the sofa out. When my final bill came they hit me with all this extra up selling items that were not in the plan. I told the mover you wasted a lot of my time and money because I informed you how to take certain items out of the apartment by removing the door. They said they will not unload my stuff of the truck unless I pay $800. I was shocked because the original quote was for $400 and I can accept that $400 price because I did not have a lot of stuff just boxes a sofa and mattress. The movers never broke a sweat. When I tell you the were MILKING IT that is an understatement. I almost forgot to add this in. The movers left my house 1/2 hour earlier than I did and I got to the destination 13 minutes before them. They must have taken a lunch break on my dime. In conclusion. I originally put down a $50 down payment for a security deposit, and when the bill came for the services it did not list that deposit, they had to call their office to confirm that I had paid that before they could credit it.

Do not use this company!! They lowballed the price, then on the day of the move started telling me that all the things their insurance required to be packed in boxes for the move -- couches, TVs, mattresses, dresser, coffee tables, etc. They would not take plants or food in sealed bags. They presented me with a list of box prices that started at $20 EACH!! I had to move my own stuff via Uber to avoid the extortion. They stacked boxes in wrong rooms even though it was clearly marked which room boxes should go in. They reassembled my bed frame incorrectly. I ended up paying $500 for a $340 quoted move. NEVER AGAIN

1. The person who answers the phone was very polite and professional, however quite misleading and dishonest. 2. I was quoted one price and told my $50 deposit would be apart of that quoted price, however later found it was in addition to the quote. 3. I was told I'd be reimbursed for time not used; the entire move was less than the quoted 5hr price, but when I called for the refund, I was given some bogus explanation about why it would not be refunded. 3. I was told there was no additional cost to move my piano, however they tried to charge me $50 to wrap the piano (wrapping = placing a moving blanket over it and taping) 4. The movers arrived FOUR HOURS later than the time scheduled. I called after 30min and was told it would be an hour. I called after an hour (1.5hr after expected time) and was told it'd be another hour. I called again, and then again the fourth time. 5. When the movers arrived, a third of the truck was full of boxes they intended to sell -even though my stuff was already in boxes. They tried to put my boxes inside of their boxes which would have cost $40+ per box. I firmly declined! I would NEVER recommend this company. It's cheaper to go through Uhaul and hire movers to come help with loading and unloading.

Movers showed up at 5.15 when the time provided at booking was 1-3pm. The rate and payment was decided for 3 movers. Only 2 showed up for moving. No complaints against the movers except 1. Cupboard wheels broken because of improper packaging 2. Box frame was not packed properly but over priced charges for packing Just to get the business quoted less price while sending the estimate.

Office rep - 5 stars, guys who packed truck 5 stars. Not happy with what happened between the time that the truck left old address and arrived at new. Boxes marked fragile and some furniture were obviously stepped on, mattress was wrapped so tight it was misshapen when it arrived. Delivery guys seemed to be in a big hurry. I guess we would say this company would be ok for a local move.

The supervisor of the crew explained the way he would move the things and that included many add-ons which quickly increased the price by $168. They were using tape like it was going out of style. I offered them the use of my plastic wrap but they wouldn't use it. Almost everything made it without breaking and some items were not put back together correctly. The most annoying thing they did was at the move out when they left a pile of debris next to their truck ramp on the parking lot of my building. It was nothing from my move so I asked them to sweep it up but they had no broom and tried to use a plastic bag. Anyway I had to sweep up their mess which had sharp objects that would puncture tires on the parking lot. I didn't appreciate that. They didn't try to keep boxes right side up so that created some problem. Overall they were quick and efficient but I got what I paid for!

Overall, the experience as a whole was bad. Customer service is not a priority for this company. Be prepared to pay more than expected, with no justification or anything to verify what "extra supplies" you will be charged for on the back end.

make sure they tell you right up front that they will charge you for packing and that it is 28.00 a box.are you for real.they never said to my husband that they charge 28.00 a box,when what was told to me was 79.00 an hour we did our own packing cause we moved the boxes 3 day ahead.so the movers charged my husband 1200.00 in stead of the 400.00 they told me it would cost.I have a lawyer looking in on this situation.beware

Please be aware that there are lots of hidden charges that are not communicated up front and the estimate they provide is only one quarter of what you will actually pay. You are charged additionally for ALL materials used. They arrived 2 hours later than scheduled

The 2 men were polite and respectful. They handled my fragile items with care.

I will admit I was nervous because of the low ratings this company received on other websites, but I am happy to say that they really came through for me. It was the first time I hired movers to move me so I do not have any other experience to compare them to. They showed up onto and worked nonstop until the job was done. I didn't like having to pay the extra shipping expenses like for their tape and mattress bags, etc. but I do understand it was to help keep my items safe and movable. I would hire them again because they did a great job moving me into my new home.

Budget made my move as easy as possible, they were the nicest and very considerate about time and packing. They came early with a phone call about 20 minutes before to let me know.
