Deck or Porch - Build or Replace
I thought the general construction of the porch, steps, and ramp was good. They painted the porch but did no undercoat so it is peeling. They gave me some paint to put on myself. I also have to put on some topping on the bare pine surround before it starts to crack. I have called twice to ask if something could be done with standing water and was told they could do something about the porch deck pooling water when it rains (fairly deep too) but I have not been called back in 2 weeks of waiting for that call. If they had not made the deck quite so level it would not be pooling.

Company communicated work schedule poorly. Quality of work was poor: closet doors poorly stained and finished, did not know how to wire a 3-way light switch properly, and did not properly re-install appliances

Most of the work that was done was professional, at times we would have to stay on their case in order to get work completed. They have a tendency to overcharge for items, but are amenable to reduction of their bill.
