Absolutely terribleâ ¦. Please read my review before using them. They have terrible service and unrealistic contracts. I canâ t stress enough please read the contracts before signing up with them. They will nickel and dime you and can change the price at any time. He plays this sob story itâ s so hard but you are running a professional business at the end of the day . It took 2 weeks for them to call me back and they didnâ t I had to call them. They tried to then coerce me into transferring my service even though I wasnâ t happy with it. Oh and did I mention to cancel the service you need to send a certified mail. There is no other way to cancel the service. You are not reimbursed for the certified letter. Hereâ s my storyâ ¦ I tried to cancel the service and the day of the had a treatment. She tells me she canâ t cancel or reschedule and they will be out. They were supposed to treat the front and back but only treated the front and never left a message that they couldnâ t get into my back yard I had to say something. They then wanted to charge another 5 dollar fee because they had to come and treat the back even when I said donâ t come cancel the service. The best part is he considers it a â threatâ because you write a review. As a PAYING CUSTOMER I should warn people about this company. Lastly he left a voicemail threatening me in but so few words. All I can say is wow! Please be careful and go with a better company. UPDATE they blocked me when i asked to send me an itemized bill of what i owe. I went to BBB on them and hoping to get the darn bill so i can pay them and be done with them.

I suffered for years with swarms of carpenter bees, I tried traps and filling their holes. Nothing compares to the mosquito sprayer they use. I should have done this years ago! Thanks to John and your staff!! (Prices are fair!)

Bug-Masters is a great company! They have great prices and amazing customer service! Jon has always been readily available whenever we have had a concern. He is professional and always on time for appointments. They are absolutely wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend them!

Beware! This guy will rip you off and will make it impossible to cancel. Very litigious. Read Yelp reviews.

It was personal service. You usually always get the owner. He will not sell you anything you don't need. He is really honest.

**First: please read actual reviews as Bug Masters tells customers to write a good review for a discount. **To my military family out there do not choose this company. All the training we receive on companies that love to take advantage, this is one. As a new home owner at the time, I needed to contact a pesticide company. Jon (the owner) was an old acquaintance of a friend of mine. I remembered seeing the truck and I love supporting small businesses owners so I gave them a call. The owner came by and I signed the contract. The first spray was $100 up front and the contract was for $300 for the year. The newly bought home had an ant issue. Just regular small black ants. His solution did not work. I called him a few time, Like he was just spraying water and charging me. I didn't want to make it a big deal because he was an acquaintance and I signed a contract so I just bought ant bait and that's what actually worked. When the company came by to spray I would give him or his worker a check for the service (they don't take cards) and they lost the checks twice. During the time I never received a bill but I knew I needed to pay for the services, at the end of the contract when I wanted to cancel, the owner got very pissy. I told them I was deploying. He didn't care he gave me a bill which was more than I owed I questioned it and with words back and forth I just wanted to get rid of them so I mailed a check via certified mail for the amount owed. The certified receipt came back with 2 pen lines..(like they didn't want to sign) for print and sign. As I was on deployment Bug Masters decided to send another bill in the mail 4 months of me being gone saying I owed more money and if I didn't pay it in 30 days I would be charged a late fee. This guy knew I deployed reason I wanted to take care of everything prior to leaving which I did. I had to get a power of attorney for my sister to call and have them explain what the bill was about. When I paid the last bill prior to leaving. My sister works in a courthouse and is the most professional speaking person I know and she said she couldn't get over how extremely rude this company was. Even with the POA they didn't want to talk to her. Prior to deployment I paid a few hundred dollars more than the contract was. I now have Orkin a well known company that has to live by the name and I never had an issue with bugs. Saves me a lot of money considering before I had to purchase home barrier just to go over bug masters watered down solution. I'm telling please read other reviews about this company as we all have a similar story.

They were great

Jon was awesome! He was prompt, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. He was also very personable and explained everything very clearly.

The owner/operator brags repeatedly about being a contentious worker and that customer service is his number one priority; however, once the contract is signed, it is a different story. He was late to every appointment, even when I was "his first customer of the day". Once you question or contradict him, he becomes irate and confrontational. I was even told that my concern about an issue was "not high priority on his list at the moment". Not something ANY customer wants to hear. I agree with a review I saw on Google: Jon Tari needs anger management. Please think twice about using this service.

He was very personable and worked with my crazy schedule to come over and provide details. He immediately called me after I submitted a request online.

Bug Masters did an excellent job. Jon was very professional, patient... and the quality of work was outstanding .... exceeded my expectations. (Inspection, Treatment and Repair work). Thanks again!

I like Jon as he is very direct and straight forward, no beating around the bush or sugar coating the facts. I much prefer someone who will lay it out realistically, even if it isn't what I want to hear, as opposed to someone who tells you what you want to hear knowing they can't deliver.

Very please with Bug-Masters. The Saturday appointment worked great for us & Jon even came back on Sunday. Great service. Glad we made the call.

My issue was a huge unknown spider that met me face to face at 830pm. Called a few places only to get answering machines. Came across Bug Master's number expecting the same thing. Only Jon answered! Told me not to worry he would be here first thing in the morning to check things out for me. He was here first thing, he was knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions. He didn't even let my, not so easy to get along with 4yr old, throw he for a loop. After going over everything in detail I signed up for annual termite and pest control. He gave me peace of mind that my children and I will be safe! I will be recommending him to my friends and family. Thank you Jon Tari

Bug Masters got rid of all the bugs.

Wow. Is what to expect. He walked me around my house and took time to explain how to prevent problems. I could not be happier with the experience.

The owner was very professional, and he knows what he is talking about. He asked if he could come by and give us an estimate. Within two days, all of the termite stations were installed, and he came by later that week and did a pest control treatment. I would definitely recommend him.
