I hired him to do painting and hand window shutters. He was supposed to have the job done between July 1-10 weather permitting. I'm still waiting for him to finish. The quality of work was not professionally done. 1 door was painted 3 times and it still doesn't look professional. My front door has white showing where it wasn't painted. The quality of the garage door is minimal. Im very disappointed and I won't use home advisor again.

I initially met with Jeremy to get a paint quote on a full repair / texture/ re-paint of the interior of a 1700+ sq. ft. rental that I was going to turn into my primary home. While the quote was the highest I received (almost 10k), I let him know that I went with his quote because I was paying top dollar for what I expected to be a top quality, professional job. He acted professional and listened to everything I asked for and he was always quick to respond, any time I had a question or feedback and even when I stopped the painters early on to switch the color out (which I did end up paying extra for the labor on). After the job was completed, Jeremy met me at the site and during the walk through before final payment I pointed out many spots where texture on the wall needed work, spots around doors/trim were missed, paint was on trim (where it shouldn't be) and paint/tape got on light fixtures and such. Jeremy just said to put blue tape on it and he'd send the guys back to do a final touch up, believing he was a man of his word, I submitted final payment. I then spent approximately 8 to108 hours over the course of several days, going up on ladders, checking above door jams/trim etc. pulling light fixtures, cleaning and scrubbing wood and by the time I was done, I had blue tape all over the house. I truly felt like I was having to QA the entire job, but thought maybe this was how these things went. Jeremy sent the painters back and when they got to the job site tjeu didn't seem pleased that they were coming back to "repair" their work. I showed them my contract and pointed out all the areas that should have been taken care of (under contract) and informed them that I should be getting a top quality paint job knowing I was paying top price. They informed me that they were only paid about 30% of the contract amount to paint my house and that they were told by Jeremy that it was just a rental, to do a quick job and get it done. Since this contradicted the conversation that him and I had, I was not happy to hear this. If I wanted a quick job to just get it done, I would have hired one of the other quotes I received at about half the price, assuming you get what you pay for! Unfortunately, even after the painters came back a 2nd time (and were in and out in less than an hour to repair areas that it took me almost 10 hours to mark, there are still many areas that they just pulled my blue tape off of and didnt' bother to repair, I still have light fixtures with paint/tape on them and I am not a happy customer. In the future, I plan to do my own painting because evan as an amateure, I'd do a much better job then these guys. My message to Build My Dream, if you outsource your work be sure to do a thorough Quality Assurance on your peoples work and send them back before going to the customer for final payment. Unhappy Customer. I believe that the painters were told to do a quick job so that the company could pocket all the profits and give me a shotty paint job. Beating myself up for releasing final payment until the job was 100% completed.

Jeremie P. ( BUILD MY DREAM ) and the Boys did a wonderful job preparing and painting a rather difficult project while juggling unexpected weather conditions. They were always very respectful, easy to work with, and attentive to my concerns. My home looks beautiful! I recommend them very highly. Ric K. Coeur D Alene, ID.
