Build To Fit Corp really does it right. They are professional and maintained excellent communication with me throughout the process. Their work speaks for itself. I'm very happy with the design they helped realize in my kitchen and bathroom and the fit and finish is top notch. I recommend them if you want a company that you can trust to get the job done without any hassle. Finding a reliable contractor is not easy.

Initially I hired this contractor to remodel my kitchen. I live in a pre-war building and the allocated space is limited. During initial consultation we talked about my needs and the options that would be available to me. Stainless steel, compact appliances were suggested to create an updated, modern look. We kept part of the brick wall, neatly framed to maintain some of the old charm in this sleek new cooking zone. I am really happy with how it all turned out :-) The kitchen is truly 'Build to Fit", utilizing all the space. I especially love the open shelves above my sink, they really make the kitchen feel more spacious. The work was done promptly and within the agreed budget. I really appreciated that the crew cleaned up daily as I was living in the apartment while the work was being done. The updated kitchen was such a big hit that I hired this contractor again this February. My wish was to add an extra room to my tiny Upper East Side apartment. First they built a custom closet, incorporating a piece of furniture I already owned to safe space and minimize my cost. With the new closet I was able to better organize and store away my personal belongings. Next 'Build to Fit Corp' helped me maximize the remaining square footage by adding a custom wall with a door to create a private space. Having an additional bedroom has allowed me to bring in a roommate. She only takes up a fraction of my apartment, while covering a large part of my monthly expenses.

Build to Fit did a great job in our apartment remodel. From the beginning, they came in and gave us an accurate price estimate and helped us work through the different ideas we wanted for the space. They essentially redid the entire inside of the apartment and it turned out amazing . We were under a tight deadline and it was done to completion in the time needed, with updates provided every day on the progress. They also provided great tips on what to look for in appliances, lights, wood stain, etc. - everything we didn't know ourselves because we had never done the work. We loved everything. In the kitchen, they took down a non-structural wall to open up the kitchen to the living room. We also installed entirely new cabinets (removing the old ones), put in new appliances, and installed recessed lighting and pendant lights. Everything turned out great - it looks like a brand new kitchen. The bathroom was completely retiled, the tub glazed, and a new shower and toilet were put in, along with all the hardware associated with it. The owner had the great idea of installed a cabinet behind the bathroom door where there was space in the wall and it is amazing! For a NYC apartment, this is perfect for storage while also using space that would have been empty. We also had Build to Fit update our closet space. They turned out beautiful. The design of the closets allow for no wasted space and are also clean and new. We also got our floors stained with the recommendation of the color from our owner and I am so glad we did it. It changes the entire appearance of the apartment and makes it look so much more new. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Build to Fit. Under our tight deadline and also the strict rules of our building, we had no problems at all. The work was done beautifully and the constant communication helped guide us through the whole process. We definitely would use them again in the future and recommend anyone else to do so as well.
