Building & Alternative Solution

Dennis is definitely "old school". He is very thorough and efficient with design and materials. He resolved the tree root problem at the bottom of my deck steps by adding a one-step landing (over the root area) to the yard. Others suggested having the tree removed! He also used cedar materials to be consistent with the previous construction and the deck. Other bids were only quoted with treated lumber (to keep the cost "down") and said I could paint to make it match. Dennis has a lot of building/construction knowledge and his craftsmanship is excellent.

Building & Alterative Solution did a good job. I 'm going to keep this contact for needed repairs.

Mr. Dennis was very punctual, in the timeframe that he contacted me once I placed a request with Home Advisors. He was polite, efficient and very professional. His communication and his timeliness on completing the jobs was fantastic!!

They were nice

Dennis was very nice and professional - came to my home and repaired a downspout (the same day) that had been damaged from a car accident. The repair was much appreciated because it has been raining a lot. He did a great job - very pleased with the work. On my call list for a handyman!

He was very porfessional. i had him change a outlet and mount a tv. He did a good job. He was reasonably priced. I'd definitely hire him again.

Did a great job installing my storm doors. The cost was very reasonable. Plus, the job was done in a timely manner. I was very satisfied.

Dennis was GREAT to work with, was EXTREMELY responsive, PROFESSIONAL and did a GREAT job. We needed a handy man to perform a few repairs at our church. I was on Home Advisor checking out option on a Sunday afternoon, planning to call a couple of on Monday. One of them was B&AS. Dennis, actually called me on that Sunday, within 15 minutes of reviewing him on-line. We made arrangements for him to come on the following Thursday, no specific time in mind. We also needed some minor electrical work done. Dennis indicated, he does not do electrically, but has some that can. They showed up at 10:00 on Thursday, got the projects done. The only exception was that a VERY old chair lift could not be repaired, so he is getting us estimates on a new one. We are COMPLETELY satisfactory and he was EXTREMELY reasonable. We ABSOLUTELY will be using him again. I will use him personally if needed and will recommend him to anyone I know, if they too need a handy man. VERY IMPRESSED! VERY PLEASED!
