I hire Built to perfection to do my extension to the house, Tom was kind and very courteous and explain the entire process before he would be able to give a price, he kept me inform thru out the process of getting the permits to built, it took the city 1 1/2 months to tell us what to built but at the end the city did not approve what I wanted. But if I ever want any remodel I sure will call Tom. Thanks Tom for everything you did. Ray

Last year, we started our project with a different contractor- one that turned out to be a nightmare (poorly done work/bankruptcy/abandonment). Left with a half finished master bath/closet (photo attached- a disaster), we were SCARED- we needed to get the project done but we were obviously very hesitant to trust anyone after our experience. We got a few recommendations from friends- and after talking with friends who had their condo done, went with Shay at Built To Perfection. Their quote was pretty solid, but most of all, they were the most professional, communicative, and well explained of all the companies. Iâ ve recommended them to multiple friends since simply because they are so professional and clear about what things cost, and timeframes. And not only that- our bathroom looks GORGEOUS. I mean obviously thatâ s the hope, but the journey getting there was so much easier and less painful than the previous contractors, and that was so comforting. Especially if youâ re contracting work for the first time, I canâ t recommend Built to Perfection enough. Iâ ll let the photos speak for themselves- our closet and bath turned out great and was completely from scratch (from studs up).

We first hired BTP to completely update our bathrooms. The painters, plumbers and tile installers did excellent work and completed the job expeditiously. The following year we contracted them to scrape the “popcorn” ceilings, paint and install wood flooring throughout the house…then Covid struck!! Like everything else, this new project was delayed several months. Once work was resumed however, the crew took every precaution to maintain a safe environment for us as we stayed in another part of the house. This extensive renovation was also completed in a timely manner with wonderful results, in spite of the pandemic challenges. Roi, the project manager was especially attentive and helped us resolve several coincidental repair issues, including a serious unrelated water supply line leak. He also provided a handyman for several other minor fixes. All in all, the BTP team is composed of skillful and dedicated professionals. They provide reliable service at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.

One of the best experiences that I have ever had. Asher and his team were very professional and did exactly what we wanted. He exceeded our expectations. He showed up when he said he would and was very communicative. Highly recommend. Oh yes, he did an excellent job.

they did a great job. My project manager Jonathan was very attentive. it took just a a bit longer than what was expected, but it was worth the wait.

We were very happy with the work and professionalism of Built To Perfection. Our project was to convert an unused large room into a master bedroom with wet bar. Work include wall removal, wall construction, plumbling, electrical, new flooring, cabinets and redesigning and installation of a window. Work was completed on time and the area was cleaned up and secured daily with minimum impact on the rest of the house. The project was started in mid August and final inspection was Oct. 1, 2019, the city was very impressed with the work done by BTP and there were no problems with permits. I would with out any hesitation recommend Built To Perfection

They did a magnificent job with our bathroom. Shay was the one who coordinated everything and Aitan did much of the work, including a masterful job with all the tiles. There were some unexpected problems along the way but Shay and Aitan handled it all without complaining. At one point our cat crawled into a temporary hole in the wall, got stuck behind the sheetrock and plumbing and Aitan helped get her out. Top marks for a great team. We would definitely hire them again.

Built to Perfection does more than a perfect job. There quality of work is OUTSTANDING. The workers are on time and complete the job in speedy amount time - - > and they clean-up after themselves, leaving my home clean. And, their customer service is here to please.

these people have a poor way of doing things they refuse to give a break down of labor and materials then any extra material left over that the home owner pays for they take for other to me that is theft then they do not follow the blue prints fail to do electrical work and refused to do dry wall work that was on the blue prints failed to get right permits and the inspector had to come out here 4 times and then this Andrew went to my wifes job to demand payment in full making my wife cry because the final inspection had not been signed off on so here we are out over 2,000 bucks to finish what they did did and they want to force us to say we are 100% happy with their work from the office to the disrectful staff Asher, Andrew (who almost had the cops called on him) they will never be called on to do anything for us and may end up in court

Andrew , Paula and Heather excellent customer service staff. They came out and measured cabinet opening (took out dishwasher) they took one cabinet door to match stain color and built cabinet to my request of 2 door, 2 drawer pullout. Needed cabinet installed by the Thanksgiving and thanks to Heather it was done. Andrew brought by on final installment check p/u a thank you gift bag which was really a classy touch. Thank you BTP. Will use again.

Quality control was lacking. Multiple appointment times were missed and needed to be rescheduled. Several return visits needed to correct problems. Workers were nice. Quality of wood replacement doors and drawers is very good. Had to hire plumber to correct sink/dishwasher re-install.

Perfectionist. Outstanding craftsmanship. Clean and respectful workers. Did everything as promised. Project coordinator not on site and was difficult to work with. If you use them make sure you put all communication in writing. They where the best with outlining details in contract but do not expect any verbal statements to be honored.

The initial appointment was easy to make, Roi was on time, knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions (and there were a lot). His quote was fair and pretty much exactly what we expected. By the time he left, we felt confident that we were in good hands, and so although we did our due diligence with other bids, it was clear from the start we'd be going with BTP. They stuck to the price originally quoted - final cost ended up higher than the original bid, but that's because we decided after the quote to switch from a shower/tub combo to a custom shower, which required moving both the shower drain and the toilet. After the addendum was added, there were no surprises, no hidden costs, even though I was allowing for them from the start (my mantra is, 'take whatever they quote and add 20%"). We did end up about 5% over, but that was due to unexpected asbestos/lead that the mold remediation company required to be dealt with before they'd complete their part of the work. Every step of the process, they left absolutely no sign they were ever here - the crew always cleaned up thoroughly at the end of the day to the point that sometimes when I came home from work I didn't realize they'd ever been here till I went up to view the latest status of the bathroom. Roi was an absolute pleasure to work with from the very beginning - astonishingly responsive (I'd send an email, and he'd call me within ten minutes - evenings, weekends, from out of the country; it didn't matter. He took the time to answer my questions about the materials I was considering buying, going so far as to review links I sent that I didn't actually expect him to look at. Paula in the office was a sweetheart; always cheerful, always willing to help in any way she could. Of note here, the office phone was ALWAYS picked up by the second ring - always. Angelina, with whom we worked the most, was responsive and available and kept us looped into every aspect of the job as it progressed. The crew was fantastic and awesome to work with. They were ALWAYS on time. If Angelina said, "the crew will be there between 8 and 9," the crew was here by 8:15. As is customary in home reno projects, things didn't always go perfectly; there were mistakes made here and there, but the thing about those mistakes is that a) they were immediately acknowledged without excuse or deflection or even perceptible frustration; b) they were immediately corrected; c) we were not charged for any extra work as a result of said mistakes, which is literally the most you can ask of a contracting company. Every step of the inspection process was passed easily, with the inspectors (we had three different city inspectors) complimenting the guys on their work. The payment schedule I was given at the beginning of the project was followed to the letter. No surprises, checks requested right on time and in the amount they'd previously indicated. This review is from a real client in Playa Del Rey. We had Built to Perfection put a floor in our attic for extra storage. They called right away to schedule a free estimate. They called to remind me of the appointment and sent an email. Great communication! Roy gave us a solid price, showed us the bonded and insured paperwork for the workers. The work was scheduled within a week of the estimate. Again great communication. On the day the work was to be done, the worker came on time, worked hard on the job and kept everything clean. The second day of the job, there were two workers. They came promptly and completed the project that day. Roy and the office called to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. They even brought a goodie bag when the work was done. I am very happy with the price, work, and service of Built to Perfection. I will hire them again for future projects.

We had a slight miscommunication, outlets were not placed where we wanted.

Built to Perfection finished the job that the other contractor did not complete. The crew were professional, polite and did their work with high quality. The job was done on time without delay. I had this company build a 400 square foot balcony so I could have shade in the back yard. They also added two doors on the balcony and painted and sealed my patio. The right price for the job without price gouging for engineering and architecture plans before giving me a price quote. Roi was able to give me an estimate without the typical contractor games. Thank you, Roi!
