I hired Burke Plumbing for a new installation of a toilet (06/11). Work was fine except the gentleman did not finish caulking work around the toilet (the back side of the toilet was not caulked at all). I called twice to report the problem; each time the lady said someone would call me. I have waited at least ten (10) days since my last call to Burke to write this review to give Burke a chance to respond to my request. As of today (06/30), no one from Burke called me to discuss my request.

Ben was terrific! Very knowledgeable and so polite. Also, the responsiveness was really fast. They came out the same day and were able to completely install our new water heater the very next day. We were very pleased!

Overall great experience. Our technician was Josh. He was professional, courteous, efficiently solved the issue, and left the area cleaner than he found it. When he quoted the total I actually had an internal sigh of relief. Their pricing is competitive and fair by the comparisons I was able to obtain. I hope I never have to use a plumber again, but they will be my first call if I do.

I provided the replacement parts from Moen and Koehler...so I needed someone to install them. The young man they sent was Perfect for the job, arrived on time, had the proper tools and skill. Told me what it would cost before he began. Truthfully I am amazed to learn the cost of hiring a plumber in todayâ s economy I commend this young man for choosing to learn this skill..

Sent inexperienced employees to excavate and replace the basement floor cavity where the plumbing needed to be fixed. The plumbing repair itself was done well. Caused more of a mess than they should have, cut into one of my electrical wires while removing drywall around the stack pipe to the kitchen, wanted to only put down an inch of concrete flooring instead of code of 3-4 inches, didn't clean up after themselves, leaving the construction area a mess that I had to scrub, shop vac, and apply cleaners.

"To begin, we are sorry you feel this way. We strive to make every customer happy. We sent 2 apprentices to break the concrete and dig. The guys we sent are far from inexperienced. They do this daily. Then, we had a licensed journeyman plumber install the piping once it was dug. I am sorry but journeymen plumbers do not break concrete at our company. This repair was inspected by ST. Louis County and passed inspection. Unfortunately, an electrical wire was cut. As soon as you informed us of that, Friday late afternoon we sent a by to re-wire this by noon on Saturday. We then rocked your entire ditch in which you were not even billed for yet. You never once mentioned to any of us that it was messy at all. And if you felt that way and had mentioned it, we would have immediately addressed it. When you called the only thing you mentioned is you were not going to pay for the extra pipe that was billed. We went 2 extra feet and only billed for 1 extra foot. Then you said you were inconvenienced so I took another $150.00 off of your bill. I spoke to Jacob and John (The apprentices) about the concrete and they told me that you were measuring after we rocked it in and set up all the way but they did pour 3? of concrete there and you saw it when they did it."
