My Grandfather, Frank Burke, Sr. followed his father's footsteps in the plumbing business, working for Charles Barnes Company. The third generation of Burke plumbers was my father, Frank Burke, Jr. Now, the fourth generation is me, James Burke. I am the current President of Burke Plumbing and Heating, Inc., my goal is to provide great products and affordable service. Service technician was expected to be running late. I was promptly notified ia a phone call. Shortly thereafter, I received another call from Burke Plumbing and Heating advising me that the technician originally scheduled to sevice my oil burner would not be able to come today. I was asked if it were OK to send out another technician today and I said yes. That technician arrived on time and performed the required service. He was pleasant, professional, and cleaned up after himself.

Tankless Water Heater Repair
Angi kind of obscured that the they rolled out from Raynham, but even with with the mileage charge it was still perfectly in the range for the service. No issues and I am glad to have a maintenance task I cannot complete easily [x] checked off.

I am so lucky to have found Jim. My rented-out property developed a leak from a worn out drain in the upstairs bathtub that damaged the ceiling of the dining room below. Jim got there promptly and provided invaluable advice in obtaining a separate construction contractor (to repair the ceiling) and working with the insurer and adjuster to ensure that all parties were in agreement with the work that was needed and the costs that would be incurred. He was patient with the insurance company and then completed the work perfectly, timely, and safely so that the Tenant was able to remain in the residence at all times. Jim had to deal with various job difficulties such as one occasioned by the fact that the tub was about 60 years old and therefore its replacement necessitated installation of a different size tub (they don't make tubs in the old size anymore) and re-setting of pipes to enable the new tub to work.

Did not inform about credit card fee. Would have paid using an alternative payment method if I had known. Also did not coordinate with me to schedule a follow up day, had to check in and they just told me it would be X day without checking if it works for me 2 days before the day.

I hired them to clean and service my Mitsubishi mini split-one unit didnâ t seem to be cooling. they didnâ t call before they arrived at my house - overall was a big mistake -theyâ re not diamond certified by Mitsubishi so are not able to utilize the warranty for parts & didnâ t clean the inside units as I had seen on the Mitsubishi website, and my air conditioning is still not functioning. I had to call in a different company even though burke billed me $650.- they added coolant and billed me for that, even though itâ s a closed system and shouldnâ t require that. Iâ m sure theyâ re very good for other air-conditioning systems, but I wouldnâ t recommend for Mitsubishi Minisplit - also they told me that a new remote control would cost hundreds of dollars I just bought one on Amazon for $18 so not very familiar overall with this system.

My central air stopped working. Called several repair companies and was told that they could be out to service in two weeks. This was during a very hot week. Burke plumbing came out the next day and diagnosed the problem, and tried to get the needed part for a very old unit. None were available. I had them remove and install a newer unit. Work done was excellent.
