Ryan, Rebecca, Terry, Patty, and Liam were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire renovation process, from design conception through execution. During the initial consultation, Ryan took ample time to understand our vision and explained the options and challenges we might face given the age of our home. Our project was a bit of a blank canvas, so it was incredibly helpful to have his thoughts on the optimal layout. Throughout the project, they felt like an extension of our family as they treated our home with care and communicated with us regularly.

I met Ryan Burkett in January of 2018 to discuss a bedroom, bathroom and laundry first floor addition with a full basement. It was a big project but every phase of it was handled with professionalism. Ryan, Terry, and their team are first-class contractors with a wealth of knowledge and experience. They are current in the latest technology, tools and products. Rebecca the office manager is so nice to deal with and very efficient. I would like to thank Terry and Patty for all the electrical, heating and painting work. I would also like to thank Michael and Liam for all their hard work and long hours. Lastly I would like to thank Hector for the beautiful â  behind the scenesâ  custom cabinetry and woodwork. I could not be happier with the addition. It was such a pleasant experience dealing with Ryan and his team. I hope to work with them on future projects and will highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to get home remodeling done. At the start of the project, I showed Ryan a picture of a a cottage style bedroom with a beamed cathedral ceiling, fireplace, and custom woodworking and detailing. Burkett Building & Deign recently completed construction of a Powder Room and the total remodel of my Main Bathroom, Kitchen and Family Room. They also designed and installed custom storage cabinetry and a reclaimed vintage wood coat rack in the Family Room. The entire project exceeded my expectations - from the initial consultation/proposal through the final day of construction. The care taken with my home in their daily setup/clean up, quality and craftsmanship of the work, and attention to detail by the entire team was outstanding. I live in NJ and have an investment home in Pittsburgh, I needed an entire rehab done on the house (shell) in Pittsburgh. I went through Servicemagic and sooner than I ever expexted received a call from BB&D. We made an appointment and before I knew it I received a written estimate-1) New Kitchen. 2) 1 and 1/2 new bathrooms. 3) New dining room 4) Repair hole in living room ceiling. 5) Paint entire house, 6) Cleaned basement. 7) Correct and expand front porch, etc,,.Six weeks later the job was done, and a great job it was. Two thumbs up!!!

The deck has turned out to be more beautiful than I ever imagined!!! Terry and Ryan are extremely professional and very creative. All our neighbor's love their work and have been asking about them. I am planning on hiring them for other remodels around the house. This was a construction project that Burkett Bulding made a pleasure to do and I would recommend them over anyone else hands down.

Very professional. Timely, prompt, and courteous. They arrived to begin work every day before 8:00 AM, and my bathroom was completed within the estimated time frame. A very good job in replacing damaged plasterboard, repairing small section of water damaged floor, installing 6x6 ceramic tile in entire bathroom, bath/shower sliding glass door, new sink & pedistal, vinyl floor and painting. Much attention to detail in workmanship, and job completed in entirety - nothing left undone.

Completely gutted basement, split 2 car garage and added 1/2 of it to basement. Put in bathroom, laundry room, utility area, kitchen area, and gameroom with fireplace. Also remodeled 2 other bathrooms in the house. All work was done in a consistently excellent manner. Terry, Ryan and Pat were unfailingly courteous and professional. They went above and beyond our expectations in the completeness and quality of the work done. The job was started on time and completed in a timely fashion. We would definitely hire Burkett Building and Design again.
