This project was a result of an issue Home Advisor Fixed pro which was much lower than was paid with BW Flooring and Repair Services. Initial Call - Outreach The owner of the company as as the request was sent. He provided an initial price over the phone. I checked with another company'rate for pricing was same which is why I went forward without him seeing the project. Customer Follow up & Arrival Owner contacted me to confirm job requirements and scheduled arrival time. Appointment was between 2-3 and he arrived during that time. Upon entering my home, I ask that you remove your shoes or us a shoe covering or slippers request. The person is to keep all outside germs from entering the home. Despite having a clean pair available, the pro came in wearing the shoe covering from the street and I noticed that the shoe coverings weren't new .Because there was another is previously at this point, I had to look passed that and focus on my end goal. Pricing & Quality Because the project was priced without seeing it first, he determined the carpet stretcheing was in a larger area therefore required more work. Price went from $125 to $200 however final cost $165 Cash. I had priced a firm fixed estimate and the pricing aligned with the final cost. Quality should always be a top priority. Although I'm no pro I felt it was a fairly simple project. The bubbles in my carpet was removed in my most area but place in a closet. I'm not sure of the logic when the goal was remove all bubbles/creases not to create a new one. Here is where I feel he missed the mark. The carpet was cut too short in the stretcheing process and was a piece that was mistakenly cut however one would have to look closely to see. At the end of day the project may cost me more as I may have to offer a credit towards Carpet replacement. My goal is to deliver a quality home with least amount of worry. In closing, I believe my experience is reflected in my rating. At the end of the day, because I was trying to fix a situation created by the Home Advisor Fixed price service I had to search for another pro. Thanks

Gave me an estimate of $125-150 but charged me $175 for 10 min of work. My dog damaged my carpet near the door way. The damage was small enough so they were able to stretch the carpet to fix the problem. After they finished, it looked like carpet was never damaged in the first place, which was good. However, there are nails sticking out on some parts of the carpet, which can stab your feet when stepping near the door.

Called them for a carpet repair job that is so horrible that I am having someone else fix it even though they said they would come back if I wasn t satisfied.

It was very easy to schedule a free estimate and carpet stretching service. James is very professional, cordial and meticulous. I am very happy with my ripple-free carpet and recommend BW Flooring with no hesitation.
