We picked them over the other two services simply for their personal touch. All three were equal in price and offers - we would actually recommend all three services as it will always come down to a personal choice by those hiring.

Byers Tree Service did a great job. The were there when they said they would, took down the tree, removed all of the branches, and ground the stump. They did this for one third less then two of the other competitors that gave me a bid. Two small items: They could have used a garden rake and smoothed out the pile where the stump was and used a broom at the street instead of leaving chips and earplugs. I'm very happy with Steve Byers and crew and would hire them in the future because of the good job they did and the price.

Communication was a bit spotty - called multiple times to get responses (he was probably busy with the tree work!). I would have certainly been happier if he had communicated with me that was at least receiving my calls/emails. Tree work was done professionally - dangerous tree removed, having a boom truck made a big difference for this job. I would hire him again, knowing that communication may be on the slow side I would set my expectations to be in line with that!

Good work. Done right away. Tree felled and cut into sections and then stacked. Only issue was that some debris was not cleared and chipped. Would have paid extra if tree sections could have been split into quarters.

Byers tree service did exceptional work for a fair price. One of our trees was vey close to or fence, Mr, Byer took down that tree without having to take down the fence. He does quality close work.
