C-4 Restoration & Construction

Beware! We are building a house in a tiny town 50 miles from Odessa and it's very hard to get materials and workers out there. When Shaun contacted us saying that he could get materials for us at a discount and his guys could have our house done very quick we were so excited! My husband and son had been working on our house for over a year with very little help, so we hired him. He had gotten our name through Home Advisor and Shaun was so nice, we thought we were safe! We hired him to do siding, drywall, paint and some small framing projects my husband had not gotten to. He said he needed $3000 to get his guys started on the framing, $10,100 to buy the siding and outside paint, and $7000 to buy drywall and inside paint. he gave us a signed contract and everything! He did send out a couple guys ever so often to work on the framing (didn't finish) but always had an excuse why he could not bring the materials. ( weather, his mom was in the hospital, he was in the hospital, his sister was in the hospital, etc.!) Then we never heard from him again! We found out that the bank account we paid money into was closed and the address list above with Home Advisor doesn't come up on google. If you try to call the above number you will find that it belongs to his ex girlfriend! I don't know what to think about all that but I do know this man has gotten over $20,000 and we have almost nothing to show for it! Beware! If you hire him, you should buy the materials yourself and don't give him any money until the work is done, or he may run off with your money too!

This company is a waste of time and money. we first off had trouble with getting call backs from them. It took quite a few drafts of contracts to even put down in black and white what we were being told. Day one, the crews showed up with little or no material or supplies. we were being told of the owner bringing the materials with him where the time frame went from around noon to around 9pm. The demo work and bracing was extremely lacking and the people skills are the same. The final day they were fired from the job for lack of material, lack of tools, and the inability to do the job correctly. since they have left it has cost me quite a bit more to fix their messes then it should. we brought in an engineer to see the work and well it was deemed unsafe. we now are in the process of fixing all the destruction. As far as crews, they had them quit left and right each time it seemed like no one knew anything about what they were doing. The crews were having to borrow tools from us to even get close to started. I would not recomend these guys to anyone. especially if they want work done on a 100 yr old home like we did.

Initial response was quick, pricing was good, quality is excellent. It took longer than planned due to weather issues but overall we are very pleased.

I'm on week 4 and my fence is still not finished!!! He doesn't show up until 10:30 or later, he keeps running out of materials, the fence is not what I asked for and I'm still waiting for gates for the fence. He will not answer my calls or return my calls. I bought some materials myself just so the workers could get a little more of my fence finished. I would never hire this man again or recommend him to anyone!
