C & A Construction

At first, I thought they were doing a great job. Sean, the owner or his father were always present, Sean actually worked with the workers. Sean seemed like a genuine person which is why I am so shocked that he told me he would return to fill in gaps around the edges. I texted Sean twice, the first time no response, the second time he said he would be there by the end of the week. He never came and I waited another week until I texted him again, no response. He also over-ordered the pavers, I could have done another job with the amount left over. Sean claimed they had flaws and would crack in time. When I asked him to put them in my garage, he stated he could only put them in his truck because he would back up the truck to put the pavers and take them to be trashed.

I was referred to c&a Masonary by Home Depot. The owner Sean and his workers were reliable and professional. Sean was present for the whole job and did an outstanding job. I would refer them to anyone who needs quality work!!!

At first Sean was great with the estimate, when I told him I was ready for the concrete work he was in agreement. Never heard anything afterwards, I contacted him several times with no return responses or calls. Seemed like a reputable person. Cant recommend a company that bailed out without even starting. Damn shame, he told me he was taking over his dads business. Not a good start. Sean if youre still interested, I will give you another shot at our agreement. Let me know.

This is definitely a bad construction experience. To sum up: - they told me to finish in 4 days. It turned out to be 4 weeks with days no one showing up without telling us. So should we stay at home or not? - Even worse... the contractor would not respond to my calls or texts. Very poor communication. The boss would be more responsive during the project, but do not expect any responses before the project starts or after it ends. - they did not clean up the remainder of the pavers and left a broken machine. I had to take care of them myself. - I personally had to instruct the workers about my expectation of the paving while I had already fully communicated with the boss. The boss only showed up once in a while during the project. There was a gap in communication between bosses and workers. The reason why I still stuck to this company is its affordable pricing and the boss is nice. During the pandemic, my choice was a bit limited.

The concrete work I had done looks wonderful

My husband and I decided to hire c&a because of their professionalism and the time Sean took with us when he came to give us our estimate. Our backyard came out great! We did both concrete and pavers. Will hire for future work needed.

I would give them a 1000 out of 5! He does such great work and his personality is so easy to talk to and work with. Sead offers extremely fair pricing and my driveway came out perfect. He is very easy going and I have just recently recommended 3 more jobs for him. It is a great company that I will definitely use again and recommend to others!
