Carlos from C&A was a pleasure to work with. I needed to remove carpet and install hardwood flooring in a one bedroom that would match existing flooring throughout the rest of condo. Carlos came on time for quote. He recommended wood color and thickness to match the flooring rest of apartment. He was the lowest of the 3 quotes with better than average ratings so I went with Carlos. He scheduled me in within the week which is not usually the norm. He arrived on time as scheduled and the floor was done within 6 hours. This is the 4th floor install I have contracted and the quality of workmanship was well worth the cost. I will definitely use C&A for future NJ flooring projects.

We recently had Carlos and his team install flooring and redo our historic stairs in our home. Carlos was very responsive to all of our questions and any concerns we had about the work. We were particularly pleased with the quality of the stairs which were over 115 years old and now look beautiful while retaining their original charm.

We bought a older home and the floors had a lot of damage, we hired C& A on November 1, 2010 to help us restore the floors. Carlos the contractor was prompt for our initial meetings and professional, after this our experience just got horrific! The job should have taken 4-6 days almost took 2 weeks. They came unprepared. They got stain all over the walls. When they sanded they did not vaccum or mop the floors, so in some places they stained and sealed the floors with debris!!! OH and they do not repair cracks in the wood they just stain over it! they also drank our supplies and used our house trash bags for heavy saw dust. (LOVELY!)

""Just like they said " they bought a older home" I can say at least 80 years old. The job shoud have taken 4 to 6 days, after we did the first sand I show them the floor was really bad to old then on there decision we had to replace an area at dinner to get it better and they don't want spend any more money, after we replace we saw some areas still need to be fixed . I told them the floor is too old and I was trying to do my best because they don't want replace the intire area at begining,so I did the repair, and of course some areas after we done, need some touch ups at paint we try to fix it but they don't let me."
