About us

Cali Homes Builder is a licensed general contractor based in Encino. The company builds custom homes from the ground up and takes on whole home remodels, additions, ADUs, and garage conversions across Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties. Omri Tcherchi owns the company and has been building in Southern California for about fifteen years. He is the qualifying individual on the contractor's license and is the person clients deal with directly, from the first walkthrough through to the end of the job. The company takes on both residential and commercial projects. Work ranges from new construction on a cleared lot to gutting and rebuilding an existing structure without changing its footprint. Recent projects include a 5,200 square foot two story custom home in Studio City and a full remodel of a single story house in Encino originally built in 1949. Estimates start with a phone call or an email.

Kitchen Remodel
I hired Amir and his team for an initial small kitchen remodeling job and have hired him for every home project since! His work is excellent and so are his prices. It is so nice to have found someone honest, cares about his work, and treats your home and the project as if it were his own. It's my second time working with this team and they always leave my home cleaner than they find it! I HIGHLY recommend Cali homes builder for all types of remodeling tasks!

I want to thank cali homes builder for doing such a great job on my kitchen redesign. I was so confused about how will I get my outdated kitchen remodeled or what things I could add to make it look more contemporary! But finally, after talking to the expert- Omri , I was relieved and was clear about what I needed for my kitchen. The crew that came with Omri quickly started working and now the final results are simply spectacular. They left me with a beautiful, remodeled kitchen. Quality redefined.

Kitchen Remodel
We selected cali homes builder to renovate our 1980's kitchen. The project was to demolish the entire kitchen down to the studs including the flooring. Amir, the project manager, spent time with us to determine the best layout and products for our needs. Omri, their designer, created the recommended layout. It was exactly what we were looking for: Tile’s flooring, new cabinetry, quartz countertop & tile backsplash, Farmhouse sink, Dishwasher, Gas stove, Recessed ceiling lighting, and ceiling. The quality of work was excellent! The team paid close attention to details and was a pleasure to work with. They graciously accepted the changes we requested. Tremendous Job!

Amir and his crew have done work for me on numerous projects for over 15 years. They've remodeled both commercial and residential property for me. They have built decks, staircases and remodeled bathrooms, and installed gas heaters for me. Their work is quick and conscientious. They arrive promptly and work long hours to get the job done.
