Reviews
Write a ReviewJourney did a good job, they were not real careful but were really super responsive when addressing any possible damages.
Work seems fine. Customer service was a nightmare. After I paid in full, I requested a warranty as agreed. The warranty did not specify time and was vague. After several attempts to rectify this, Journey emailed that they would provide the valid warranty if I changed my low rating. I did not do this.
Rushed into job, tore off roof then did not start project til over a week later, constantly ran into paperwork issues, actual work done was approximately 7 days but project took over a month to complete. Price quoted was doubled after starting project, could not leave the house without a roof so was forced to finish and pay 50k for a 1k sq ft single story home.
Great customer service!
Did not really finish the job? I am still waiting to hear back from Cody? i paid $5280.00 due that the job is partially done and like I said I am still waiting for Cody to call back so the project can be finished
Good job, well done. Thank you to Eric and Mike of Journey Builders.
Job was not performed professionally. Company used unsupervised, unlicensed (likely illegal) subcontractors. During quoting process, Sales assured me all workers were employees, however when I asked workers who they worked for none had ever heard of Journey Builders. All workers were very new to roofing and the United States of America. No one besides the Sales staff knew anything about roofing codes including the Project Manager... As a result my job was royally ****** up. Journey sent a second crew to demo and re-do the work from the 1st crew, but it still is not right and of course Project Manager refused to correct it. Tiles are not lining up properly, caulking over used to cover up their mistakes, cracked tiles etc...
The project got off to a rocky start. But Harry got right on it and we kind of got back on track. Harry was great. He addressed our concerns and unexpected surprises quickly. We are very happy with the job. Waiting for the next rain to see if it leaks! I’m sure it won’t.
Reasonable price, quality work and friendly crews.
I do not recommend Journey. They did not follow the building codes. When the building inspector came out the first time, he told them what needed to be done. The roofer ignored the instructions and continued to put the asphalt shingles on without any corrections. Now the inspector came back for a second inspection. He did not approve the roof and told Journey that they had to remove the whole roof. Journey used staples instead of roofing nails. The owner of Journey did not oversee any of the installation. I am very dissatisfied.
