CARDENAS DESIGN & BUILD LLC

The Cardenas crew were punctual, thorough. Gabriel was easy to get hold of and worked with us if a change was requested. The job was very well done.

Gabriel and his crew did a wonderful job! They removed the old grass and borders. They replaced the old metal borders with a high grade composite, checked the irrigation system to ensure it was working properly, added new topsoil, and sod. They left the driveway and street neat and clean when they had finished the job. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent job, fence looks awesome.

Great customer service from beginning to end. They performed exactly how they said they would. Started on time, finished on schedule. Gabriel and his crew were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Compass Landscaping should the need arise.

What an outstanding business! The written quote was professionally prepared and detailed. Work was begun on time and remained on schedule despite poor weather. The crew was exceptional. Their work was expertly done. Gabriel was hands-on. The wall was completed as described and on time. And the crew landscaped the worksite so everything was neat and clean. Great job! I recommend them.

Very good service. I am very happy and would use them again

Gabriel & crew were outstanding. Communication was exceptional & project turned out better than anticipated. A few adjustment were made without interruption & the project was completed a head of schedule, despite the threat of heavy rain. Gabriel & crew are very professional, shows up on time & works a hard day. Highly recommended!

Gabriel and his crew are top-notch!! Gabriel makes professional, customer service and quality performance his priority. My husband and I are thrilled Gabriel was able to start our xeriscape project earlier than expected and was able to complete our project ahead of schedule. Gabriel offered much appreciated recommendations, accommodated change orders fluidly, supervised his crew daily, and provided frequent updates with photos during the process. Gabriel was transparent about expenses, product availability, delivery schedules, and invoices; there were no surprises. Compass Landscaping has an impeccable work ethic, presented to job when scheduled, and ensured the area was cleaned up at the end of each day. We have received copious compliments from our neighbors about Compass' xeriscape product. Now "The Jones" are trying to keep up with us. Highly recommend Gabriel and Compass Landscaping for your landscaping/xeriscaping projects!!!

I struggled to find a contractor for my landscaping project. A couple were very overpriced and some promised bids but never delivered. Gabriel submitted a bid when he said he would and was actually able to start work earlier than anticipated. The project, involving a 10x10 flagstone patio and a 15x5 planting area, was done expertly, on time and for the estimated price. He was even able to match the grout color of an existing flagstone walkway. Great work, great customer service and a great result. I couldn't be happier.

Had a good initial project meeting with Gabriel, but it has been 5 weeks and never received a bid after he said he would get back with me in a few days.

Gabriel is a fair and honest contractor. His crew is respectful and they work efficiently. The estimates and terms were made clear to me up front. Gabriel worked with me to understand my design preferences up front to be sure we were on the same page, and at the few points along the way that I noticed something that I wanted modified, he accommodated those modifications, advising me of the impact on cost and timeline. This is exactly what I expect from a contractor. His crew built a terraced retaining wall (2 walls), laid a flagstone pathway, and replaced my front fencing. I'm very happy with the final product. It looks great!

The crew and manager were nice, friendly people.

Glen Wolfe from Wolfe Concrete, LLC workmanship is superb. As a Federal Employee I issue Government contracts for construction within the USA. The quality of work by Glen's company is outstanding! I highly recommend if you desire quality concrete workmanship Glen Wolfe should be your first choice. Im so glad I used Home Advisor and very happy with the work and the honesty and integrity demonstrated by Glen and his team. Thanks so very much!! Martha Giannotti

Make sure that all measurements have been done by this contractor and not by you. My experience $12000 quote turned into $16000 because he didn't measure actual length of fencing he just used my estimate that I put here for the request for services. He also miscalculated the amount of sod by 3 1/2 skids. All said his crew's were top notch and Gabriel is a very nice guy and I am happy with the work they completed. Just remember make sure that you watch him do in depth measurement so there won't be any surprises at the end.

I hired Compass and worked directly with Gabriel on our project. From the beginning we were honest on our budget and needs. In the end we agreed upon about $2.5k in product and 3 days of labor @ $900/day for a 4 man crew operating with a skid loader to ensure efficiency. Our job was to start on 9/22/17. No one showed up that day or the next. Rain started on 9/24 and continued for several days. Once the ground dried up, a crew worked a single day on 10/9/17. No one worked again. In this window we were given several excuses ranging from unrelated medical and equipment setbacks. Finally today, 10/17/17 I contacted the material supplier to find out some of our product had still not been ordered and we have still not seen a crew. Apparently now, there was a machinery theft impacting their work. I?m sorry, but as a small business owner I feel it is important to follow your word and complete any job you take on. I?m not 100% sure what motivated this incredibly unprofessional behavior but we have let Compass go and will now complete the job ourselves.

Did an excellent job and I would recommend their services to anyone searching for a dependable and reliable Landscaping Company.

Very professional. Did the job when they said they would, it cost what I was told it would cost, and my yard looks better than I could have imagined. I am very pleased.

The crew was very polite and enjoyable to be around.
