"Working with Kate Melton was difficult to say the least. Our project timeline was constantly being sabotaged by her and her husband refusing to complete their agreed upon tasks. We did extra drywall work for them while we waited for them to finish hanging drywall and for them to finish the flooring. In fact, they did not finish the flooring until the night before our final day. I had even offered to finish their flooring in order to keep the project on track. They declined. This left just a single day to finish all baseboards and door hanging/trim. This was an intentional attempt to void their final payment to me. The photos that have been posted by her are a misrepresentation of the work completed. To address the issue of "illegal" workers, I have not and will not ever hire someone who is not insured or lacking the necessary licenses to work and I am on the project everyday as we are a small firm. This is an intentional defamation and quite frankly a despicable thing to say given the current political climate. Just because someone is of a different color does not mean that they are incapable of being an independent contractor themselves and to suggest that you somehow felt threatened by being alone with him is also very telling. Every client we have ever had loves him. I would encourage anyone who sees this review please take into consideration the stark contrast between Kate's experience working with me and our other previous clients."
