I booked a couple weeks before my move and had Rob, Kevin H, and Jaquan to move me and the experience was time efficient, stress free, and they treated my belongings with care. Will definitely be using this company for any future needs.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Avoid #1 Choice Movers LLC at all costs. We used #1 Choice Movers LLC and they broke/damaged so many of our items. The guys that showed up were super nice, but were moving for speed and not for care. We saw #1 Choice Movers LLC throwing stuff into the moving van and not organizing it to maximize space. As a result, they couldn't fit a lot of stuff that we had to leave behind and go back and get (for context, we moved two states away). We've contacted Corey, the owner of #1 Choice Movers LLC for over 6 weeks now with photos, documentation, and estimates for repair. He is non-responsive and has not taken any responsibility for the damage caused by #1 Choice Movers LLC. Photos attached: - #1 Choice Movers LLC taped a wooden desk with packing tape DIRECTLY on the finish. It damaged the finish when we pulled it off. - #1 Choice Movers LLC broke our piano. See both photos. They broke the rod between the legs off and hid it in a drawer without telling us. - #1 Choice Movers LLC threw a wooden frame in the back of our storage unit. There is an additional photo that shows the frame is demolished. $500 to repair. - #1 Choice Movers LLC scratched up a dresser so bad on one end, and it's warped so the left side drawers don't open anymore. - #1 Choice Movers LLC threw boxes marked "Fragile", and stacked heavy items on top. Photo of a butterfly poster with a broken glass. It was found under gym equipment. - #1 Choice Movers LLC threw a blue tub and cracked the entire bottom. - #1 Choice Movers LLC broke a lamp completely at the metal joint so it can't be repaired. Note the additional scratches on the wooden leg.

ATTENTION: If you are looking for movers, do NOT choose 1 Choice Movers(or #1 Choice Movers.) They damaged ALL of my antique wood furniture (only wrapping them in plastic instead of moving blankets,) disassembled items (refusing to reassemble and losing pieces), tried to tack on charges not agreed upon, and will no longer answer or return my calls/emails. After agreeing to make things right then refusing to respond, I have contacted the BBB, Chamber of Commerce, and am working my way up the ladder. If they should choose to make things right, and follow through, I will delete my review. 1) Kitchen table was obviously stood on one end as the wood is damaged to the point where I have to file the wood down because it causes splinters/slivers. 2) Antique dining room table was damaged. This was handed down to me by my mother who received it from her parents who initially received it from their aunt. All these years and it didn't have any damage like this. It will take an antique restorer to fix. You can tell by the damage to the plastic "protection" that it was done during the move. 3) Antique China Closet - finial was broken during the move and the shelving was left in and fell inside during the moving/carrying - causing damage. Upon delivery the movers stated that they had told me the finial was already broken prior to the move. NO conversation was ever had between the movers and I regarding this as it was not broken prior to the move. 4) Antique piano that was a gift from my grandparents (purchased from one of his relatives) - Frustrating that the movers didn't bring the equipment necessary knowing ahead of time they would be moving an upright piano, wasted probably 45 minutes trying to figure out how to move it, left huge indentations across the wood flooring in the house I was moving out of, and I had to watch them scrape it across the front concrete. I can't even get to the back corners to really tell if there is damage. (Notice the pieces of wood that were on the floor after they left) 5) Antique record cabinet which also came from my grandfather. After removing the "protective" plastic 6) Bookshelves that were assembled on carpet and never moved. I could only get to one side. There are three other sides that I suspect the same kind of damage. 7) White bookshelf - (The movers stated that the one leg was broken off prior to the move. I assembled this and it was never moved once assembled. I can assure you it was not broken off.) I suspect they were dragging it as they were previously dragging the couch and I had to request that they lift rather than drag as I didn't want any legs to break off. 8) White Desk - I watched one gentleman independently carry this down the stairs, only to run into the wall multiple times as he tried to maneuver around the banister at the bottom of the stairs. - It wasn't wrapped at all. I also assembled this on the carpet and it hasn't moved since assembly. I suspect this grey rubbing was done carrying it upstairs in the new house as the paint is grey. (though it will not come off) Screw is stripped causing the back to separate from the shelves - more than likely from trying to carry it independently and the multiple run-ins with the wall and banister. 9) Metal Shelving - they disassembled them, but said AFTER delivery that they could not reassemble them as they only reassemble furniture....there was no need to disassemble them then. They wanted a hammer. I didn't have a hammer, but I had a large pipe wrench and a block of wood to use so the wrench would not damage the metal. I even demonstrated stating that the wood would protect the shelving. (You can even see the red paint from the wrench which is also damaged.) I assembled these myself and they were never moved so there would have been no damage on the bottom at all....let alone dragging them across the basement concrete. I do not have photos of the damage on the bottom, but am quite certain there is due to dragging them on the concrete. Quite frustrating as this will allow rust/moisture. 10) The boxsprings - new - never moved. Obvious dragging. 11) Antique Vanity - only protected by plastic which was obviously damaged in the move. 12) The treadmill. They disassembled it and refused the manual twice when offered so they could follow assembly/ disassembly. There is much damage, the cord was pinched, pieces left disassembled in my garage with pieces missing. Again, I assembled this on the carpet and it was never off the carpet. Deep damage to the tread. I assembled this and it we hadn't had it long- only used a dozen or so times. I can't even test it as I can not put it back together until I have the missing pieces. Damage all the way through the paint

They got it done on time. One of the workers argued with me when I asked him to stop being on his phone so much. It seems like they addressed the issue. I hope so. I have never had someone I hired speak to me like that. James was super nice.

It went fantastic. They were great movers and very customer oriented. They took care of my item and everything was moved on time. They had an extremely reasonable price. I would recommend them to anybody that's looking for taking care of their item and I would definitely use them again.
