Poor craftsmanship, nails were popping up in the floorboards on day 1, rail corners do not match, railings were not measured correctly so there are gaps of half-inch or more, with screws showing. Seams in railing boards are uneven and not matched. Floorboards and stair boards are not evenly spaced, so there are gaps. Watch the charges. Appropriately charges for those items added after contract but no refund for the materials not used. 3/31/2021 - Update to my june 2020 review. Had agreed to order the replacement boards, this spring, to replace the crooked, poorly mitered top rails and has now refused to pay for the boards. I wish i could post pictures for you.

Very helpful in the design and suggestions to make it unique

Even though CDC was very busy he worked with me to get my project completed in less than a week because he knew it was time sensitive projects. Very friendly and very professional. Quick response time

Initial interview and estimate went well. On day work was scheduled to be performed the contractor arrived punctually. Work was exceptional and above and beyond. I'd asked for deck to be stripped and power washed and he power washed siding in back also. I'm very pleased. I asked him about toilet and his estimate was quite agreeable so, I've hired him to install a new one.

It was a little hard to get the project off the ground as it was late in the season for getting guys to do deck work. We where so happy with the work. John and his crew was nothing but polite and professional. Excellent craftsmanship. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

What should have taken a week took almost two weeks to complete. The pro was surprised that we wanted a permit for the project. We were billed well over the contract price that was given. We were going to have this company to our basement remodel until we were billed the overage. Myou husband is the one that picked up the permit and went to the store to exchange or purchase items needed. The problem went to the store once to pick up concrete and went to apply for the permit and we were charge an exorbitant amount for that.

John was friendly, prompt, time-efficient, very detail-oriented, competent in all areas of repair we needed (electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting). Would hire him again in an instant!

John and CDC put extra touches on the deck that really made a difference. Touches that we would not have thought of but that really added to the curb appeal of the deck. The quality of the work was excellent. For those who think they could do this job themselves (and we considered it) we learned first hand what they knew versus what we did not know.

John from CDC installed a ceiling fan for us. We were very happy with the service we received.

Satisfied with the outcome of the project. Will hire him again.

He's great! On time every day, cleaned up after work was done. It was a pleasurable experience. He made things really easy & he did a great job!
